Blood altar loading (not working) with controller interface ... but working with M&K input

Yes i am probably one of the few players using a controller but let me summarize my problem.

Problem:
Once I try to use the blood altar while playing with the controller (Dualsense on Steam) the recipe window will not load.

If everything worked you should see a screenshot of the problem below.



I tried switching to mouse and keyboard Input and voilà it worked again so it might be a problem tied to the controller interface.
