Rage vortex not showing

For some reson it seems like my rage wortex is hiding under ground and is always cast on the same level, if im in a pit it looks like its up in the air and if im on a hill its digging underground.

Having the same exact issue - even on flat surfaces its hit or miss if the animation is visible. Fucking terrible.
