Menu buttons need clarification

Anyone else notice how sometimes when you look at the menu and it says certain buttons do things they do not?

For example, I want to change the guild message. Next to the guild message there is a button that says triangle. I'm no academic. But when I want to change the message I expect that button to open a menu to change it. Is it too much to ask to simplify this? Do I need an iq of 300 to understand how to edit stuff?

When I hit triangle I get options to remove, promote etc it works if you hit triangle as soon as you login, but afterwards you lose the functionality. I'm not a paid tester so don't expect a bug report. If your interested in bug reports I can start sending reports for a fee. This is just one example.
