Bane Curse damage scalin

Hi new to posting but I’ve tried different socketed linked curses with bane but no tooltip damage dps changes currently only my supports up my current damage is that normal for the tooltip?

There is a limit to the amount of curses you can apply. This curse limit is for your character, so you'd need to get things that increase your curse limit like the notable 'Whispers of Doom'.

I believe that the Bane skill itself also counts as a curse.

The ingame tooltip for bane will never tell you anything about its damage. It’s similar to minions in that sense. Have to use path of building if you want to get an idea of your bane damage. It’s annoying, but it what it is.

But link wise, you’ll want bane, 3 curses(once you have ability to apply 3 curses) and then 2 of void manipulation, controlled destruction or empower. Use awakened versions once you can afford. For mapping and leveling you can use hex bloom over controlled destruction and the herald of ash aura for really good clear.
