[STD] INT-Stack Wander Min-Max | Mirror-Tier Build | Igloo Build

Welcome Exiles,

this is going to be a showcase for experienced players who want to min-max the popular Intelligence-Stacking Wander Archetype.

I am a long-time enjoyer of this archetype and put my head together with some of the best crafters in the game to make this character. Shout-out to Snurr and Vinzz0!

In this guide we are going to focus on making a well-rounded character. It should excel at all aspects of the game without exception. That means we are not sacrificing QoL, Speed or Durability on the Altar of DPS.

Videos:

Spoiler
A 6k+ Depth Aul. (Delve stops scaling after 6k depth) Thanks to ABVT for letting me record this in his mine:

Let me know what else I should record.

The Outline:

- 120Million+ consistent, non-inflated single target DPS
- A multitude of the single target DPS for clear; courtesy of Kinetic Blast
- Over 1 Million eHP
- Elemental Ailment Immune
- Stun Immune
- 95% Evasion
- 90% Phys Mitigation
- 50%+ (non-glancing) Blockchance
- Multiple Defensive Layers/Recovery Methods
- 300%+ Movementspeed
- One of the best play-styles in the game as a Wander
- No flask-piano, just relaxed “lazy”, “boomer-friendly” play

What will this cost?

Insert ‘everything’ meme. Jokes aside – this is a mirror-tier build. This is a Ferrari with the corresponding pricetag.

That being said, it does not feature mandatory rare corrupts or non-mirrorable rare items. Everything in this build is still very much optainable/mirrorable in STD.

All Items for the build are available at the Igloo Mirror Shop

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3324498

and we pride ourselves in having reasonable fees. More concretely this means no mirror-item in this build costs a fee above 1 Mirror.

What if I do not have that kind of currency?

In that case you can probably still glean quite a bit of insight into the build archetype and adopt its paradigms into your own build on your own budget. And of course you are invited to enjoy the show. :)

Common mistakes in building an Int-Stack Wander:

1. Not using the Squire Shield
2. Not building defence outside of ES

This is it, really. The two big downfalls almost all other guides about this archetype have; even at the top end of the budget.

Mechanics:

The tl;dr is:

1. Stack INT for flat damage, %increased dmg and %increased ES.

2. Try to get as many %more dmg and flat ES mods as possible. (Squire, Crit etc)

3. Get RMR cluster jewels and supplement the basics with various Auras.

Multiple layers of defenses as well as multiple sources of dmg scaling make a well rounded build. Just stacking INT with one or two supporting mods will end in a pretty mid-range character overall.

Gear:

Spoiler

A multilink Wand with the Squire fixes the main “problem” of INT stacker DPS – the rather sparse multipliers. Even a less optimal Wand is much better than even very expensive Synth-Wands.

A dual-influenced Helmet remains the best choice for the helmet slot even in the days of tailorable Synth Helmets.

This is the de-facto best INT Wander Amulet in the game due to its legacy modifiers.

A Point-Blank Armour allows for much more efficient pathing on the tree.

Damnation Circle is the best Ring due to its legacy double Int-Roll.

Good’old Shaper’s Touch. Ideally with a +2 AoE or+2 Aura corruption.

Those are the de-facto best INT Wander Boots in the game. They are like an Ascendancy and a half on a gear slot. The legacy Sentinel Mod makes them a prime choice for upgrading any INT Wander in Standard.

And of course a Mageblood. Ideally with a fitting corruption, but this is not mandatory.

RMR Jewels allow the use of utility and defensive abilities and play the largest role in making the character more durable.

A couple unique Jewels for rather obvious purposes.

And last but not least flasks.

POB:

This thread is still under construction.

So you swap to offhand setup whenever you wanna single target? Or do you just swap out a gem for siphon?
always wondered why they went with 'gain a frenzy charge every 12 seconds' on that chest.

Compared to crit multi, flask effect, non-curse auras etc.
I know frenzy generation is useful, but you get that from unleashed potential.

Hey, yes, I weapon swap to switch between the clear and the single target skill. You can see me do so in the Aul Video.

Unleashed Potential does not work against bosses/without things to kill.
Why 99% of build showcase doesn't tick "Uber Pinnacle Boss"?
To make DPS big number?
Because the extra damage reduction Uber Pinnacle Bosses enjoy is not prevalent anywhere else in the game.

Normal pinnacle boss characteristics are shared though with deep delve bosses, delirium bosses and others such as specific map bosses (conquerors, guardians, elder guardians, synth maps etc) and tend to be the metric most people are most familiar and judge a build with.

Nothing stops you from comparing Uber Pinnacle numbers if that tickles your fancy.

Need to see an updated version of this monster with crucible mir wands and shield along with Vengeant cascade action. A couple of Feared runs would be nice to look at.

Well, will take a while till Crucibe ends, but the bases have been made and are waiting to be transfered over to STD and be crafted there.

I can ofc do a couple Feared runs and record them. Stay tuned!
