Cant finish act 10 because of glitch

I'm currently on kitava on act 10 everytime I reach feeding trough it says you kill kitava theres no portal to oriath docks and I go town and says kill kitava. I've reset the instance a dozen times and still doesnt work..

Once you kill kitava you have to wait in the zone for some time (maybe 10 seconds) for a portal to show up back to town. There has been many times I've rushed characters though the campaign and just Portaled back to town immediately after killing kitava to start fixing my resists, Just to have the zone reset and the quest chain not completed. Which would require me to go back through to clear kitava once again.
