About item filters

I play on xbox. Is there a way to check if your item filter is working?

Easiest way is to drop something you know will be changed by your filter and see what it does. I just use an alch or chaos usually.
I know on PS5, I sometimes need to go into my filter and flip it on and off before it starts working for that session. Not sure if the same bug happens on XBox. |

Pressing L-stick bypasses loot filter and displays everything. See what it's blocking.
