What's the deal with trading?

So I recently tried to trade with the marketboard and got quite confused.

I activated the option to only show offers from players online and.i only offer the stuff the other player shows in his offer.

But after 1 week no one actually accepted any of my offers or refused them.

I wait for around 2 days for each offer and nothing happens.

Is this normal behavior or is something broken?

It's quite normal for many reasons, Firstly there is price fixers setting low prices but never sell, becouse they want to buy cheap themself when other sell. Secoundly some let the game stay active even when they sleep/work, but you normally get a response within 12hrs max atleast then. Finally there is people coming from league forgot changing their prices, or alike. And will not sell for asking price anymore. So yes, it's not too easy as long there is not a buyout option to bypass those obstacles....
