PoE custom skill gems: Pacts

Greetings to the community. I'd like to present an idea of mine for custom additional cotent in the form of new skill gems which will be known as Pacts. These Pacts function as buffs, but they have the ability to change drastically the way you play and build your character and they always reserve Life. To accomodate this inconvenience I have also introduced a new Jewel that can support the situation these Pacts lead you into.


So, here goes:

Pacts


Pacts are special skill gems that provide strong buffs and can alter the way you play in various ways. These skill gems only have the “Pact” tag and can be socketed in sockets of any colour, as long as these sockets are not linked to other sockets. Pacts do not have attribute requirements, but they have high level requirement and have a maximum level of 5 and no quality. There is no way Pacts can go over level 5. Pacts always reserve Life and their reservation amount is not affected by reservation multipliers. There are 3 ranks of Pacts, and each rank has its own reservation amount depending on how powerful they are. Pacts can have a reservation amount of 15%, 25% or 35% and that amount defines their overall strength. You are limited to 1 active Pact at all times.


Pact of Endurance (Reservation: 15%)

You take 10% less damage from hits.
Guard skills have 25% increased buff Effect and 30% increased duration.



Pact of Destruction (Reservation: 25%)


100% increased Critical Strike Chance

You have +1% to Critical Strike Multiplier per 2% overcapped Critical Strike Chance (maximum +100%).

You deal 6% increased Damage for every 150% Critical Strike Multiplier you have.



Pact of Agility (Reservation: 35%)

You have 15% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge on hit.

You have 5% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge above your maximum when you are at maximum Frenzy Charges. This chance is reduced by 25% for every Frenzy Charge you have above your maximum. Additionally, increases and reductions to Evasion Rating count as reductions and increases respectively to this chance at X% of their value (30-40%).

You have 25% chance to lose a Frenzy charge when you take a Savage hit and 10% chance to lose a Frenzy Charge when you take a Critical Strike. These chances are doubled when you have Frenzy Charges above your maximum.

15% increased Damage per Frenzy Charge.




Pact of the Legionary (Reservation: 25%)

Magic Utility Flasks also apply to your minions.
Magic Utility Flasks have 35% reduced effect.

You and your minions deal 50% increased Damage during the effect of any Magic Utility Flask.



Pact of Awareness (Reservation: 15%)

You have +30 to all attributes.

You have 10% increased maximum Life if your highest attribute is Strength.
You have 30% increased Evasion Rating if your highest attribute is Dexterity.
You have 25% increased maximum Mana if your highest attribute is Intelligence.



Pact of Swiftness (Reservation: 15%)

You have 15% increased Movement Speed and 10% increased Attack Speed and Cast Speed.



Pact of Adept Sorcery (Reservation: 25%)

30% increased maximum Mana.
50% increased Mana Regeneration rate.

Increases and Reductions to Mana Regeneration rate also apply to Energy Shield Regeneration.

25% of Damage taken is taken from Mana before Energy Shield.



Pact of Physical Prowess (Reservation: 15%)

You deal 50-70 additional Physical Damage with Attacks.
You deal 40-60 additional Physical Damage with Spells.




Pact of Physical and Mental Conditioning (Reservation: 25%)

Regenerate 3% of Life per second.
+15% additional Physical Damage Reduction
40% increased Energy Shield Recharge Rate.
30% increased Mana Regeneration rate.
+25% to all Resistances



Pact of Defensive Awareness (Reservation: 25%)

+18% Chance to block Attack Damage
+18% Chance to block Spell Damage

50% increased Block Recovery

Enemies whose attacks you block have 8% reduced Attack Speed and Movement Speed for 8 seconds.
Enemies whose spells you block have 8% reduced Cast Speed and Movement Speed for 8 seconds.

15% increased Movement Speed if you haven’t blocked recently




Pact of Towering Strength (Reservation: 25%)

+30 to Strength
30% increased Stun Threshold
15% reduced Effect of ailments on you
15% reduced Enemy Stun Threshold with Attacks
20% increased Stun Duration on Enemies
+15% to Chaos Resistance



Pact of the Skirmisher (Reservation: 35%)

15% less Damage taken from Damage over Time
30% chance to avoid Elemental Ailments
30% chance to avoid Bleeding
30% chance to avoid being Poisoned
25% reduced Duration of ailments on you
40% reduced effect of Curses on you
15% more Damage over Time



New Jewel: Sign of Weakness

5% reduced maximum Life.
You count as Low-Life while at least 30% of Life is reserved.

Just read this, seems like a pretty interesting concept to me, pretty substantial buffs. Specially liked the idea of the Pact of Destruction for some endgame builds X)
