Copying an Item from PoB to Craft of Exile?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to work out how much an item would cost to craft roughly, the item is in a build I'm following on PoB, but I'm unsure how/if I can copy the item from PoB to Craft of Exile, in a similar way to doing it in-game?

Does anyone know a way or do I have to do it manually?

Click the "Copy" button in Craft of Exile, go to the "Items" section in PoB and click "Create Custom" top right.
Then paste the copied item from Craft of Exile, click "create" and equip the item.

Orbaal, Chanlaa is trying to do it the other way around. From POB TO Craft of Exile.

Would like to know if this have been solved yet as I'm stuck trying to do the same.

What is the copy button?

Its in the topleft corner of your current crafting project.

Looks like a clipboard and copies the item to your clipboard, so you can import it into PoB

He want to copy an item from PoB to Craft of Exile(PoB --> Craft of Exile), NOT from Craft of Exile to PoB(NOT Craft of Exile --> PoB)

So I'm trying to do this. Is it possible?

I just had a go, I can get the item text from POB into the craft of exile window but I when click the import button it returns "Bad item format!". I'll play around and see if I can spot the difference with the text directly from the game.


Edit: I'm getting a different format from copying in game and copying from the pob item page. I'm using ctl+C on the item in the item tab in POB, perhaps there is another way to copy the format, or and in-between step that can be used to transform the format?

I had the same problem, or a similar one really. Tried to copy items from the trade site and import it to craftofexile.com, with the same message about wrong format.

Contacted them about it, and was informed that there was nothing to do. GGG have been asked to support "advanced mod description", but have declined. Presumably it's the same issue when trying to copy items from PoB.

Unless somebody makes a conversion script, don't think we can get this to work, unless GGG make it possible in their API.

Seems strange to be able to input to POB with the format but not output with the same format. I would think it is possible, but maybe just not implemented because it is not build with other third party aps in mind.

Big ups to anyone who has been part of creating POB, I think it's a great program, using it right now, I find it the most useful way of learning how game mechanics interact.
