PS4 and PS4 compatible Controller display wrong labels on death

I'm using a PS4 or a wired PS4 compatible controller, playing the game through Steam on windows 10 (not yet tried if same issue is there when playing the same version on Linux). Both controllers result in the same problem when the character dies and the 'You have died!' popup shows up: labels for an XBox controller. All other labels in the game are the PS4 labels, but not in this popup. As I don't have experience with XBox controllers I've to guess which button does what.

This issue was not seen in the Sentinel League.
