Need help with CWDT build

So I'm trying to follow a build guide, but I think the whole ward thing and functionality behind the build is throwing me off. Can someone take a look at the build and tell me what I need to fix? Essentially, I pop ROF but it just seems to damage me and never shoot off any spells. I'm suspecting it might be to do with the CWDT gem levels, but I'm not fully sure. Essentially I'm just dying and no skills are really going off, despite even using all flasks.

why attribute stack ring when you are not using omni amulet? sure the dex and str helps if you don't enough of it, but you should already

Yeah that makes sense with not having Omni yet and I don't have the Forbidden gems yet either. Haven't found them yet and don't have the currency for it yet. I'm not overly familiar with the mechanics of builds (Still trying to learn that) outside of the older CWDT builds before Ward. Completely forgot about my lab like an idiot. Part of the problem that I knew going into it, is that that build there is really a min/maxed endgame build, but I figured I could roll into it, but apparently not.
