Having out of date drives is not "otherwise bad for your gpu", it has absolutly no effect on it besides perhaps some performance via driver optimisation.

If you are alluding to it potentially damaging hardware this is complete nonsense, Ive no idea why people have it stuck in their head that they MUST update as soon as its available.

Suck it up, revert to the previous driver patch, wait for it to be fixed and stop being such a baby.
NVIDIA "GameReady" driver versions are mainly focused on newly released games.

It's not the first time they break previous games, it happens.
If you care about stability, don't use them as soon as they release.

I use Dx12, but i can confirm the black flashes on a gtx 1080 with vulkan :)

Just a heads up to anyone experiencing this issue, updating to the newly released 516.59 driver fixes this issue.

We're still looking into the issue to see what can be done.
For now, the best advice we can give is to rollback the driver, or use a different renderer.


Can you also work on the Mac graphics bugs? Because the game is all messed up on a Mac right now.
