South African Server

Not sure if there's another channel for feedback regarding the South African server.

The last two days it has not worked at all, it's just acting as a login server for Frankfurt as we go straight there at any time of the day.

Throughout the league there's been database access issues at night when the servers get full. Portals and stash etc take multiple seconds to process commands. We have also been getting random massive ping spikes and disconnects.

Is GGG still experimenting with providers?

No the server should be up, not sure what's going on as it's still down at the time of writing.

There are two posts in the 'technical support' forum but still no official response.

There is still a problem with the South African server. It randomly goes offline in the evenings and reroute you to Frankfort server. Once this happen you lose all your loot and any map's that was currently running.

I'm not sure if the server can handle the traffic or its just usual bad servers we have in South Africa but it is a huge frustration in our community.

The South African server was a God send for us but at this rate it feels like hell.

We still have all the problems that the OP have mentioned....

Don't think this provider can handle the GGG requirement.

Same problems, lag when opening stash and teleporting, you get thrown onto Frankfurt which is one of the worst EU servers to play on.

Not even worth playing any more now if SA server is down, game feels god awful on 200ms

Logging into South African server reroute to Frankfurt how do we play on this PING!

Seems these threads are not read by GGG.
