Controller item pickup range doesn't match item highlighting

I'm currently utilizing an XBox One controller with fullscreen resolution set to 1920x1080.

With this setup, I am using the right thumbstick to select items for pickup and anytime there's more than a few items onscreen at once, I'm unable to actually pickup items the controller UI allows me to highlight.

I am having this same issue. I am going to try a very strict item filter from https://www.filterblade.xyz/ and see if that helps. otherwise, I vaguely remember in the past that POE had the same issue with keyboard years ago until GGG patched it.
