Update 3.18.0e Crash No Error Message Repeatedly

Reuploaded content.ggpk, no crashes for 2 days, today again, after 3.18e update, literally cant play the game, GGG pls read the forum and at least msg that the problem is being solved.
P.s amd Ryzen 1600
UPD. cleaned cache files, still no result, then tried to disable windows brandmower, no crashes atm, will upd if the game is stable with WBM off.
UPD seems to have nothing with WBM, starting to think about faulty instances or a rare game bug, cz crashes appear and dissapear with no visible reason, but i
have never fixed crushes within one map(instance) with any listed above manipulations , that should be fixed asap though.

cant play without multithreading.

ggg pls
After new patch, i did have severe CTD (crash to desktop) without warning. When i reading this thread, i do have similar spec like many ppl reported which is Ryzen 5 1500 & GTX 1060 6GB, so i feel like it maybe have to do with this.

I done several things and seem ok so far:
1. Fix the patch (i forgot the file name, it is in poe folder)
2. Update my GPU driver (it help with a crash earlier)
3. Check for any outdated driver (mobo, LAN, audio)
4. Switch from steam to standalone

I think the one that fixed my issue so far are:
1. I make shortcut of 64 bit (i dunno why it run the 32 bit version by default)
2. Set program to run as admin (since error is when app have problem accessing specific resource on windows)

Try this and hope it help
I didnt have to disable multithread (since it will make game more laggier)
I've had similar crashes on my PC as well in the past on a Ryzen 1800X. I had most of my crashes fixed by turning off SMT (Simultaneous Multi-Threading) off in BIOS. This should be off in general if you're playing games, IMO, as it can cause all sorts of weird issues. I hope it helps!
Hi, I too have the crash problem.

I tried disabled engine multithreading and the situation get better.

Now I enabled engine multithreading again and disabled SMT on BIOS as suggested by @AbsPoE. I'll report later.

Tried SMT off, no difference. The only thing that stops random crashes every few minutes is disabling engine multithreading in game. But that makes poe a slide show.

Also tested:
dx12
dx11
low graphical settings
high graphical settings
multiple resolutions
dynamic culling, resolution
PackCheck.exe
checked water level in the kettle
deleting cache and saved images
deleting minimap
downloaded latest drivers (tested both recommended and optional)

my professional assessment: game bad, please fix

I can remember having the exact same issue a league or two back, and there were many popular threads where other ryzen users had this issue.
I tried everything (that is applicable, Steam version of the game) in janek23q's post and turning SMT off for both the Process and in my BIOS. Still crashes. Not sure if it is exaserbated by particular skills or juicing of maps, but here are the conditions that seem to crash the most for me:

Build: Spark Inquisitor 16 projectiles per cast, ~180% projectile speed, projectiles pierce 5 targets.

It seems to crash most often when I am in close proximity to a large pack of monsters and/or in tight spaces like the rope bridges in underground river.

Ryzen 3800X processor.

Getting really sick of losing a massive chunk of XP everytime this happens and it is pretty much every single map or close to it.

Ryzen 9 3900x + rtx 2060 win 10, no crashes. Just letting you know.
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor 3.20 ghz
same problem as many here, played all of sentinel league without a single crash and past days CTD after CTD. some maps wont even get past laod screen without a crash, and I also experienced the "sitting in the login room" crash as well.
