Sentinel deployment on x box

I have a control box and a sentinel, but I have no way of deploying sentinel. I see PC users have side tabs on inventory box and a box on bottom right they can press but I have no way of deploying my sentinel or a sentinel work bench. I have tried several characters and no success. Can you explain what I need to do or are x box users being left out.

I believe on XBOX, you pull both triggers, then you click on the B button which gives you the option of hitting the X, Y, B button to deploy Sentinels, and on the left side I think you can push down on the D pad to open the Tree. But I haven't seen any Inventory buttons except inside the Hideout where you can click on the box.
