Expedition quest bug

Leveled a character in SSF then switched over to trade league, and noticed I could only get Gwennen in maps. I can't complete the Explosive Archaeology quest now since I have outleveled the campaign zones. Any way to fix this?

I ran into the exact same issue (SSF conversion and all) and i got a workaround where i went into someone else's expedition, went into an underground cave and triggered the kalgurran text prompt then talked to Dannig. When i returned to my HO all the expedition people were appearing correctly.
