Unable to use Harvest Stash with controller

I am using PS4 controller and the button combination to access your stash tab to craft on stuff in your stash is L3 + whatever that middle touchpad button is called. Using that combination closes the craft window, does not open the stash, and highlights the chat.

Holding L3 specifies that pressing that touchpad closes the screen. Holding R3 says the same thing. So I'm not exactly sure what button you're supposed to press in Harvest to access the stash.
