PoE 3.0.18 on SteamDeck - Controller disconnected

As written above, i'm using the newest build of PoE 3.0.18 on my Steam Deck. But i wasn't successful to get my controller working yet.

Immediately after the games launches i get the message (in the top right corner) that the controller was disconnected. This is not true and physically not even possible on the steam deck.

I'm using Proton 7.0.2 and the default control scheme
