Dreamfeather, the Queen of the Forest (Build)

Hello exiles,

I want to share my build for the upcoming league.

Disclaimer: This is not... not even close meant to be a league starter.
It's a lvl 100 Mageblood build, keep that in mind.

2. Items

First, Mageblood is mandatory.

Besides that, the build is not rly a meme-build, but something off-meta I wanted to do for a long time.
The core mechanic of this build is to stack Evasion, cause we use a "Queen of the Forest"-chest and "Dreamfeather"-1h sword as weapon.

The Queen gives us good movement speed (in combat 300%) and the weapon has "1% increased Attack Damager per 450 Evasion Rating".
That's a pretty big increase keeping the 150k Evasion this build has in mind.

The rings disable mana cost for all skills
Gloves fix the attributes and Vaal Skill Downtime Damage.
Amulet is not only for the reservation, mainly to boost all these alternate quality gems to heaven.

Thanks to "Mageblood" no elemental res needed, far overcapped.

3. Skills

1. Viper Strike
We convert our Physical damage from the "Dreamfeather" into chaos damage and apply posion stacks with "Viper Strike"-attacks.

2. Ancestral Protector
While mapping the increased melee strike range (+19 from buff and 32 in total) is handy and the protector applies culling strike against bosses and builds up our "withered" stacks.

3. CWDT-setup
Molten Shell is the best choice, cause next to the 150k evasion this build has 90% phys reduction, but more to that later.

4. Auras
Vaal Grace/Grace, Determination, Vaal Haste, Herald of Agony.
Grace and Determination to cap our evasion and armour, haste for increased attackspeed against bosses and the herald to boost our dmg overall and for the chance to posion.

5. Combat Buffs
Plague Bearer is for mapping AoE, Summon Ice Golem gives us the needed accuracy,
Blood Rage the attack speed and Withering Step for wither stacks/elusive.

6. Movement
Whirling Baldes for zooming, but use whatever your playstyle fits.

4. Passive Tree

The passive tree is without cluster jewels and a really defence focused version.
I dodged many usefull damage nodes to get the best defences possible.

The build ends up in a Shaper fight with:

- 50% Attack Block, 44% Spell Block (50% with Rumi's)
- Evasion 150k, 95% chance to evade
- Armour 43k, 90% reduced phys
- 75% Spell Dodge Chance
- 600 Life Leech/On Hit Rate
- don't take reflected dmg (cause of chaos dmg)
- Needs no mana without Lifetap
- Immune to Ailmemts while focused
- 300% movement speed

And last but not least, the damage.
In a Shaper fight this build goes over 60m dps

That's a Effective Hit Pool of 650k,
while the Effective Max Hit we can take is around 49k. Pretty decent.

These stats will increase/change, cause I calculated the build with only the bare minimum of mods I needed on the rare crafted items. Short, many open mod slots.


This build is not meant to be the highest big dick dmg possible or the tankiest build you have ever seen, I only wanted to create a working build with the Queen and Dream, to cosplay as spiritual being in a forest runner like mtx,
while having a "Mageblood"-build as main goal over the league.

I would be really happy to hear your thoughts about the build, possibly you get a good idea I could fit into the build for fun.
