Highgate Water follows me

When I load into Highgate there's the sound of water and or waterfalls. It's loud and annoying but one area.

However as of late(like the last few days), any time I load into Highgate and that water sound starts playing, it seems to follow me into other maps. The sound comes and goes but it seems to be almost 'proximity' based in the sense of any time I get near the center of a map, the noise starts to get louder.

Ideas as to how to fix this or what's going on?
