Next gen update for Xbox Series

Hello, I'm a beginner player and I would like to know if Path of Exile will have an update for the new generation of Xbox Series, it's frustrating to play in backwards compatibility mode when new consoles could explore better FPS and graphics

This probably will not be happening until POE2 comes out, in my opinion.

POE already performs significantly better on XSX/XSS thanks to the far faster CPU, which was severely limiting performance on XB1.
Additionally, with 3.17 we are getting DX12 rendering which will make a big difference for us.
I would doubt we will ever see a specific XSX/XSS optimisation.

Your opinion is the most realistic. I think the fate of Path of Exile and next-gen consoles will be similar to Warzone 1 and Warzone 2.
