Anyone ever get back to back sick?

So I was basically sick all week with flu. Guess I need to add flu shots to covid. Feels like I'm back in school again with all these vaccinations. Anyway, we feeling 100% this morning then went out to my favorite mexican drive to celebrate, and yes the more "divey", the better IMO - now I got bad food poisoning.:(

I was sick all the time in my youth, including with some pretty off the wall stuff. But as an adult, I'm one of those fortunate people who just doesn't get sick (or at least doesn't feel sick) even if everyone around me is. I could very well be a ticking super spreader time bomb.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

" Good genetics. I've always been sick or in hospital I used to race motocross broke many bones. Mental health. Etc. But never so close. Last time my stomach felt like this I had Giardia I got from drinking stream water while fishing. Come to find out upstream was a pig farm. I was out of commission for like a week. Git R Dun! I got sick a lot more often pre-pandemic. Things like masks and distancing has done wonders for me avoiding getting small random colds and crap.

Before kids, I feel like I was never sick. Then kids, and it felt like I was sick non-stop. It's gotten better as they get older.
It's probably a combination of them being a walking mucus factory and being run down from the additional duties and lack of sleep. | |
