And when its many eyes gaze upon you, its huge teeth snap shut around you...
Welcome to your new hideout, inside broodstar!
Located between the infinite stars, secluded from the mundane, find yourself stepping in slime while enjoying the constant grind of unseen gears.
Sooth your mind at the signature neuron brain, adventure over the finned wings, through pipe filled veins, or take a relaxing treck along the spine till the end of the tail.
Oh, and greet the neighbors - centipede parasites.

How it fits the theme?: This is a mystical scientific research center, I am quite impressed by the Oriath style, in particular the decoration , and its style that I tried to transfer to the hideout with some thematic zones - a place where you can explore, collect relics, knowledge, many books, collect from past leagues Totems (from past eras,history, awards or destroyed part of the story) and study it - and if you are doing this, how can you do without a good and large crypt with burials and various instruments of torture? , the hideout is built so that it is convenient for the character if instead of the player you would be in his place yourself (as if it were at your home - I tried to convey this in Oriath style) - went hunting in portals and as if you yourself collected the remains of Oriath and studied it in a comfortable environment for storing, studying, and collecting various remains, including bones and graves.

Competition will start on 7th December. Theme of this competition is Inside! This means at least %50 or more of your hideout needs to be inside a structure or an enclosed hideout base. If you're working on an enclosed hideout base, your hideout still needs to reflect the Inside theme by being interior, because only using enclosed hideout bases won't make your hideouts "Inside". There is one month of time to complete your hideouts, meaning submissions should be made until 7th January. Then our jury team will do the voting, which will take one or two weeks. Shortly after voting ends, winners and runners-up will be announced here. After the announcement, prizes will be awarded and shipped, which you can see below.

Categories:
Both categories will have seperate submissions, voting, winners and prizes.
■ Non-MTX: No MTX hideout bases or decorations are allowed. Meaning hideout bases and decorations %100 should be obtainable in game without spending any currency in the MTX shop. All decorations should be current obtainable decorations(excluding game specific ones like crafting bench, heist locker, etc.).
■ MTX: All MTX hideout bases and decorations are allowed. Creative usage of MTXes are encouraged. All MTX used should be purchasable from the MTX store. Hideout bases, decorations and pets that are not available anymore for purchase(Like Entombed hideout, etc.) are not allowed. Also decorations from Atlantis mystery box are not allowed. Usage of a couple MTX decorations at least is also required. Just adding 1-2 MTX decorations to a Non-MTX hideout base won't count. Using an MTX hideout base will count.
Also Non-MTX Category is not a problem in terms of recording hideouts because we just load them and record, but we need to record hideouts in MTX Category by visiting your hideout. Please see rules section about this.

Challenge trophies, old benches from before the master update, rhoa dinners or other exclusive non-MTX decorations cannot be used in both categories. Also hideout bases, decorations and pets that cannot be unlocked anymore by normal ways(Like Ritualist's hideout, etc.) are not allowed. These are to create equality amongst competitors.

Name and idea are by Pixxelkick. The inspiration for this event is the show Iron Chef. Like the show, entries must follow a specified theme.

Weekly videos will be posted here as they're recorded. I will be making these videos by recording hideout files one by one and combining them. This way all hideouts have the same understanding and quality. This also removes the need of submitters to make their own videos. For first three weeks, we will be making Non-MTX weekly videos only and will make a seperate MTX video at the end of week 4 with all the MTX hideouts present in it. Here are our weekly videos:

Note: Shipping prizes normally should take 1 month at most, but due to Corona this can even increase up to 2 months. Prizes will be sent with tracking and we will pay the shipping costs. Also, we will send prizes as gift in gift packaging with a note saying "Congratulations for getting 1st/2nd place in Iron Hideout Competition!" to avoid all taxes.

■ Your hideout must be your own work.
■ Hideouts that placed in Top 5 in GGG's Official Hideout competitions are not eligible. Also hideouts submitted to previous Iron Hideout competitions are not eligible as well. This means in this competition we're accepting hideouts made in the past too, you are also allowed to update them!
Note: If you're using Synthesis decorations and made your hideout before 3.16.1 patch(11th November), Synthesis decorations will still be bugged and won't transfer over hideout file created before the patch. To fix this, you need to export a new hideout file and add the new file as an update to your hideout on Hideoutshowcase.
■ Your hideout must be safe to showcase(Nothing against Terms of Service of GGG).
■ Hideouts must fit theme of the competition. This means at least %50 or more of your hideout needs to be inside a structure or an enclosed hideout base.
■ Multiple submissions are welcome, limited to maximum 5 submissions per contestant. You can also submit hideouts in both Non-MTX and MTX categories. However posting the same hideout to both categories with minimal changes is not allowed.
■ We will use hideout files to record your hideouts to videos, but we still need to visit hideouts posted in MTX category. We will contact you via forum private message about these recordings. Please check your private messages if you posted a hideout in MTX Category.
■ Hideouts need to be uploaded to hideoutshowcase.com with the final hideout file of your work. Sharing is part of this competition. Also adding your Path of Exile forum nickname to Description part in Hideoutshowcase link is required.
■ Using post template below is required. All required is posting your hideout to hideoutshowcase.com and linking it here, putting an image on top is allowed and lastly answering questions in the template message below. As we will be doing competition videos, there is no need to share a video. But if you like you can make your own video and share.
■ Submissions breaking any of these rules will be disqualified.
