Radiant Character Effect

I just purchased the Radiant Character Effect but in any place even a little dark (Highgate for example), there is an ugly rotating square border around the effect. I've already been offered a refund by support but they did say I could provide feedback here to see if the issue could be fixed. I'd prefer that to a refund.
