PoE on Series X works perfectly

I played several hundred hours on Xbox One, the experience was pretty bad but I was playing because the game is too good. A ton of crash, 3 FPS, etc...

A few months ago I bought the Series X and played PoE for hundreds of hours:
The game works perfectly well. 0 crash, FPS are constant, changing a map takes 3 seconds. A PoE player's dream.

I recorded these videos to show you how well the game performs on Series X with Minions:

Obviously, these same videos on Xbox One is: crash/3 FPS/crash.

If you are hesitant to take the Next-Gen (because I guess the PS5 is the same) to play PoE in good conditions and other games, I highly recommend. The difference is great.

Great tip! I would have had no idea a newer, next-gen console would have performed better. Now we all know, so big thanks!!

PoE is not next-gen optimized, some games on ONE are still terrible on Next-gen for your information because the game is not optimized.
Another great tip! Anymore and i'm gonna feel like i owe you :)

I can't wait to try it on a series x though. It'll probably look amazing on my Samsung 82" 4K that i got last week. You should try yours on one. The game looks tons bigger and much more crisp with it, trust me.

No, because the game is not optimized especially the resolution :)
You've used the word optimized alot. Im gonna look up what it means. Odd that ive never heard of it before, seeing as i used to make maps for games like Doom, Duke numem, and Kingpin, that got heavy played rotation on servers back in the day.
I have to disagree. This game freezes for 1-2 seconds whenever a unique drops in the middle of mob spam for me. It also crashes at least 1/day for me and I have to soft reset my XSX because the game will lock up again if I just reatart it without doing so.

I also get a lot of rubber-banding during Heist. I've learned that I can't use a quicksilver potion in conjunction with flame dash.

An option to adjust the video settings would do wonders for it's performance.

But I do agree, yes, that it is much improved over and X1S.
I'd buy a PS5 if I could find one. They just won't make enough while our games on PS4 run like crap. I wish I just had a PC instead. Sony is like "haha, we're not going to make enough PS5's hahaha spend 2x the price from a scalper haha, enjoy your 3 FPS games haha"

This is my experience on the XSX as well. Still get random disconnects to Xbox launch page everyday and stutters/lag. But overall much better than the earlier Xboxes.
Path of Exile performs on Xbox Series X better than on my PC. lewl I switched.
