Mirage Archer mana question with Deadeye Occupying Force node

So I quickly noticed in 3.15 that each time Mirage Archer attacks it uses your mana as if you did the attack. This has made it a bit more challenging to manage mana, but workable still.

I have no yet unlocked Occupying Force on the Deadeye tree to get the +2 additional Mirage archers.

My question is simply this. Since Mirage Archers with this node are essentially "detached" from you and more like totems, do they no longer use your mana when they attack?


If they do, that would basically be increasing your mana costs by x4, which is pretty huge.

So I had to double check, and sure enough. No mana cost.
