[3.14] Raider RF + Cyclone, because why not [6M+ Sirus DPS][9.5K+ Life]
Introduction
This was a build I did in Harvest League and I want to share it now since it was fun. It is quite fast, safe and has a lot of damage for endgame.
Theory
Raider has the following advantages: Onslaught: -- Speed: ---- To avoid difficult situations ---- Faster clear --> More farm Frenzy charges: -- Speed -- Damage (20% more) Phasing: -- Unobstructed by packs of enemies that block and shotgun -- Immune to elemental ailments, flasks now only for bleed and poison Elemental exposure: -- Free -20% fire res for enemies The problem with RF builds is that they are safe, but slow. With the Raider we can introduce an equally safe build that is much more interactive and fun to play.
Pros/Cons
Pros: -- Typical Raider Cyclone feel ---- Fast clear ---- High damage -- Easy endgame -- Quite tanky with reachable 10K HP Cons: -- Uber Atziri requires curse immunity flask -- Has 30% less net regen compared to other classes -- This is not a league starter
Passive Tree - PoB
https://pastebin.com/yerkeJgF It mostly has what I am wearing now, you can add a better watcher's eye and a better staff to see the maximum damage output yourself.
Gear + Gems
Helmet + RF Gems
You will need to look for the following typical RF helm: Ideally you would need a helmet that has -9% Fire res instead of Intelligence and level 20 Conc Effect. Gems: 1 - Vaal Righteous Fire: We need Vaal version for double burst damage 2 - (Awakened) Elemental Focus: Massive elemental damage multiplier 3 - Inspiration: The charges will be gained through Cyclone 4 - Awakened Increased Area of Effect: Gives enough damage and AoE for clear Inspiration Support We focus on "Supported Skills deal 7% more Elemental Damage per Inspiration Charge". Since RF doesn't cost any mana, we can't get charges. But if we use Cyclone supported with another Inspiration, we can get charges and boost our RF damage, since the charges apply globally to our gems. Cyclone has a very low mana cost, and that 800 mana reset is way too infrequent to bother us.
Weapon + Cyclone Gems
We will need to look for staves, since we will need a 6link utility cylone setup. The Searing touch is an excellent budget staff that gives us only 20% less damage compared to the rare next to it.
Stats for Rare Staff
We are looking for: - Quality: 30% (48% ideal) - Enchant: Grants 1% increased Elemental Damage per 2% Quality - Prefix: Increased burning or fire damage (100%+) - Prefix: Fire damage over time multiplier (40%+) - Prefix: + to level of All (Fire) Spell skill gems (+3 Fire, +2 All) - Suffix: Damage over time multiplier (25%+) - Suffix: Accuracy and Quality (18%) - Suffix: Burning Damage (30%+) - Suffix: Increased effect of Malevolence (50%+) - Suffix: Fire Damage (15%+)
Cyclone setup
Cyclone Gems: - (Divergent) Cyclone: No need for Vaal version - Fortify: To make us tanky - Inspiration: To gain charges for RF - Awakened Hextouch (lvl 5): For two curses - Flammability: More fire damage to enemies - Elemental Weakness: More fire damage to enemies
Armour
Kaoms Heart ofc
Gloves + Boots + Gems
Armour + Resist + HP
Jewelry
Belt and Rings are required, you can try and get a cheaper version for the amulet. We need some flat lightning damage to proc Elemental Equilibrium with Cyclone.
Jewels
Watcher's Eye, look for: - Increased life recovery rate with Vitality (Required) - Damage over time multiplier with Malevolence Jewels: - Increased maximum Life - Fire/Burning Damage - Damage over time Multiplier - Resistances - Attributes Cluster jewels: - Surging vitality (Health and recovery) - Lord of drought (Better flammability) - Wrapped in flames (Cover enemies in Ash) Last edited by mtheofilos#6190 on Jun 18, 2021, 1:13:39 AM Last bumped on Jun 18, 2021, 1:12:31 AM
