Spark Spiders MTX + Saqawal's Flock Tornado bug

Hello. As the title says, I have noticed that Spark Spiders do not align with movement vector of tornado projectiles from Saqawal's Flock skill. Is that an intended behavior or a bug? (looks pretty strange, spiders must walk forward, not sideways)
