3.16 update With the recent nerfs to dodge and blind, it's still viable. Albeit less survivability. However, with some investment in EV% to scale and switching medium clusters (pressure points and basics of pain)
3.16 Iceshot/Anomalous TS ballista x 6 3.15 update, with the reversal of mana cost multipliers, the setup is still viable. Although the build loses approximatley 50+ mill dps on the totem barrage setup. This time 8 x ballista totem TS ====================================================================== 3.14 Iceshot/Iceshot barrage hydrosphere zerk build Presenting a ice shot build for my marauder that makes use the asenath's chant to cast curses,hexes and hydrosphere . It can be a currency pit but pretty flexible in terms of cluster jewel usage, jewerly and gems. DPS varies from 15-47 million ice shot damage for mob clear and Ice shot barrage with the range of 100-190+ million depending on my gear choice (using ballista support or not) POB (has quant and full dps setup): https://pastebin.com/JYLx4WY8 Pros: - Just aim and Asenath's chant will activate curses/spells. - Bonks bosses. - Rage generation/Blitz - Can use lightning arrow or tornado shot with simple gem/jewel swaps. - Totems/Mirage archer can pick up the slack if you have to be mobile. Cons: - Absurdly expensive if planning to use legacy gear. - Mana intensive build (may need elreon or -mana craft) - Not as tanky compared to ranger, susceptible to one shots. - Requires certain player positioning to take advantage of hydrosphere. Build was dead on 3.15. But revived after mana reverts.

Everyone always laughs at me when I go Bowzerker, and they have a point to an extent I find.
Never tried Blitz yet, went full triple rage and Aspect of Carnage but always found on bossing it was so bad and slow. The rage generation is biggest thing for non-melee zerkers. Little to no rage meant no popping zerk and esp if the boss has phases that was worse. Clearning and mapping? Amazing. I wish so bad that Rage Support would work on ranged attacks. Not sure how you manage bossing on this build with the rage gen issues? Or is most of your damage coming from Blitz/Carnage? |

Bulk of the the damage is like you said was blitz and carnage. If the encounter is long enough from the beginning, i may pop berserk when i had enough rage generated during the fight.
