Help/ How to start, what build to follow

Hello there,

I'm kinda new to the game, and I want to make a good start. The beginning of the game is easy, but I think that when I get further my build will be useless.

I searched a lot of guides to start, but all of them are very complicated for a beginner like me.

If you have a good guide for ranger, that explains the passive tree, skills, in a easy way to follow, I thank you very much.

The main issue i foresee is that the ranger starting class has a very steep learning curve.
Next to the scion it is one of the most difficult classes to play without a lot of game knowledge.
I would not recommend starting with the ranger until you have some solid experience with game mechanics.

This is likely why the build guides are not user friendly for that class.
As there is a expected level of know how needed to go zoom zoom around the game.

Would you consider playing anything else just to get off the ground?
There are quite a few builds that are easy to play and have well written and comprehensive information on how to go from 0 to hero.
