Looking for an answer to a simple enough question...
I am looking for clarification about impale and cleave.
When dual wielding with 100% bleed chance, cleave will lump the bleed damage from both weapons into a single bleed stack. So, when dual wielding with 100% impale chance, cleave will: 1) lump both attacks into one impale stack. 2) separate both attacks into two impale stacks. Based on the knowledge I have of this game and how impale works, I could legitimately argue for both answers. I appreciate all of your help. Last bumped on Apr 20, 2021, 2:03:10 PM

Cleave combines the *damage* from both weapons into a single hit, so you'll only get a single Impale stack.
You'll also only get a single bleed. Think of it this way: If you were to use Crimson Dance, you'll still only get one bleed. Thus, you can obviously expect only a single impale stack. | |
As I figured. I appreciate the confirmation.
