How to quickly check the dps of an item?

Looks like ggg disabled poetrademacro / awakened trade.

Is there another way to check the dps of a weapon? Only way I can think of is put it in your trade stash, then search for the item name on the trade website?

Quick maths. Or have a calculator ready at hand.
It will a feature in POE 2

Before that , use calculator for pdps

pdps is an incredibly simple math calc.

min damage + max damage.
divide by 2
multiply by attack speed.

129+243 = 372
divide by 2 = 186
multiply by 1.67 = 310.67

311 pdps.
mouse over the item, press 'ctrl + c'

tab to pob, with the item page open press 'ctrl + v' to paste the item into pob and it will show you the dps, you can adjust the rolls etc to check potential dps if divined, add mods to check the dps with various bench crafts etc.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
Thank you Snorkle :-) you are kind. For those trying his method, click on the "Items" tab in 'Path of Building' exe then ctrl c from in game and paste unto that items tab in POB app.

If awakened trade isn't working, then it's on your end. You can try updating it.

Is it a feature in POE 2? Because I'm looking up an easy to to check DPS now
GGG cannot disable Awakened PoE Trade because the addon does not interface with the game client. If it did (or ever does in the future), then it would be prohibited by the ToS. The game client allows you to ctrl + c an item to copy it to your clipboard. From there you paste the code to Awakened PoE Trade and view an overlay of the item.

Please note that no 3rd party tool is endorsed by GGG, and the use of any may subject your account to be banned at GGG's discretion. You do not have to be aware of or intend for a ToS violation to occur. GGG also recently updated their ToS, and I haven't the faintest clue if they changed anything regarding 3rd party tools.
