Xbox series s/x - ultimatum league

Any optimization for the new generation of xbox series s / x consoles in this new league?

Don't expect any optimization for new consoles for quite a while.

GGG has said almost nothing about it (except that it is eventually planned).

Both games are currently running in backwards compatibility mode, so when they have optimizations for the new hardware (PS5 and XSX/XSS), there will be new client software.

They can't really make optimizations for them in the existing versions of the game. It can't just be snuck into an existing patch.

So it won't be some surprise we find out about at the last minute.

They'll let us know it's coming.

I would personally expect we won't see next gen clients until PoE 2 is close. So at least a year from now.
