Private instance / Local Console play

I'm sorry if this has already been brought up or talked about.

But I was wondering if it would at anypoint be possible for the console side of PoE to have local multiplayer integrated? Somewhat like what they have done in D3 for console. Personally I would want it coz my dad and I play PoE from time to time on PC, but it would also be fun to play on console for a little "closer" interaction with the game, and my dad. And I know my younger brother (who is playing his first league ever and level 86 as a blade blast assassin) would also love local co-op integration.

Maybe it is just my thought and opinion, if anyone has shared their thoughts before, I would gladly like to read/get linked to the posts. Ofc it could also be too much work for nothing on the side of GGG.
