Add influence price on XBox?
Hello all,
the thread title pretty much says it all. For the last couple of days have been trying to find out what an appropriate price for Add Influence to Armor/Weapon on XBox would be. Alas no one in the trade chat seems to know or care to share his/her information. So can anyone here enlighten me to rank 3? And do the ppl that are willing to buy know that the outcome is totally random? Thank you guys and gals :) Last bumped on Mar 7, 2021, 2:54:56 AM

The price can fluctuate a bit on XBox and there's really not enough high-end items to establish a firm price in most Leagues.
What I usually do is take a Poe.ninja price and multiply it by 2.5 to 3 for most items. At high base prices, that might be a bit much or a bit shallow, depending on the amount of them in the current market and their listed prices and league mechanics. Also, price-fixers work hard on chase consumables/currencies, so the market can fluctuate a bit solely due to that. https://poe.ninja/challenge/currency?name=crusader%27s So, anywhere from 2-3 Exalts for the above on XBox? Again, because it's so very specific for high-end gear, the price could be more. But, because the population is larger this League and more people are focusing hard on the Atlas, you may find it a bit cheaper than 2.5-3x poe.ninja list. Comparing current League pricing to Standard can help you get an idea of whether or not the relative value of the item is devalued in one/other and the influence of current League mechanics. PS: I've never bought/sold any that I can remember, so have no experiential knowledge to give you. :) |

A few more salient points:
1) The item level of the craft is very important. If it's 76 or higher, you can get the most for it. If it's below 76, then it's less valuable, because it won't work on the highest ilvl items. 2) Be extremely careful when trading harvest crafts (buying or selling). Most people will demand collateral for the item they are handing over to craft, and you need to be sure you'd be willing to buy that item for whatever collateral they demand, because they may just skip out on you after getting the collateral. When buying, be sure to require a collateral high enough that you won't be devastated if they run off with your item. As far as pricing of 'add influence' Harvest crafts... they are relatively common (T3, not T4), and all they do is add a random influence to a non-influenced base. So, the actual value of them is quite low. You can calculate it specifically. (The following examples use PS4 pricing from a few weeks ago) For example, for add influence to a weapon, you need to know what the most valuable possible outcome is. Earlier on in the league it was an Elder Citadel Bow (i83). Unfortunately, they were only 30c. And you have a 1 in 6 chance of hitting it. So that's 5c actual value. There's always markup over the actual value, but I would say an "add influence to a weapon" craft is worth about 10c. Anyone paying more than that is making a big mistake, because they could just buy the base they want instead. Armour is tougher to judge. If you just by non-6L bases, then the most valuable outcome is probably an i86 Hubris Circlet. And *most* influences are valuable on a Hubris. But the crafts are still common, and there are lots of influenced Hubrises on the market. This time the base isn't 100% free either, so we need to calculate final cost minus base cost. An 86 Hubris *should* be about 10c. Not always available at that price, sometimes they are cheaper. The final, influenced outcome will vary from 30c to 1ex or more. Let's say the average outcome is worth 60c. That means that it's a 50c profit, so the Add Influence to Armour Harvest craft has a base value of 50c. Double it again for pricing, and it's roughly 1ex. It's possible this value could be higher if we look at 6L Astral or 6L Vaal Regalia. But I don't think it is, because the bases are so expensive, and uncrafted 6L armours don't usually sell for much. Add influence to jewelry is the most valuable (and the most rare). And i86 Shaper or Crusader Crystal Belt is quite expensive, and the same goes for Hunter or Elder Stygian Vise. In the case of the Vise, even "failed" crafts landing Warlord or something are still valuable. I'd guess Add Influence to Jewelry is worth 2ex. Again, those are based on PS4 prices from a few weeks ago. You can look up current XBox prices on the market and do the calculation yourself. On the off chance you're actually talking about Augment Influence (from a T4 seed), that's worth a lot. Like 4-5ex is my guess, but it's very rare, so it may be extremely difficult to price. It's the one that adds an influence mod to an item that already has influence. Last edited by QQPQ#9136 on Mar 6, 2021, 1:05:23 PM

Thank you as well for the insight. It really is kinda hard to judge on the common pricing on either console since there does not seem to be any source of information of any kind regarding that. At least none that i know of.
Again: Thank you. That really is appreciated :) |
