why does EVERY boss room have a ritual?

why? its a bossing league yet i cant fight the fucking boss in the boss room? this makes no sense at all. i dont want to be FORCED into using your trash mechanics ( that literally freeze my game ) during t16 boss fights. explain to me how i can ensure none of the bullshit is in the boss room. this is not fun.
