Invisible Buff Effect

Trying to use the effect to remove the War Banner effect on Xbox One, do not know how to equip so I am not running around with a huge ugly banner. Videos I watch are from the PC, I see no way to pull up gems or add buff, clicking on it does nothing.

Skill gem cosmetics are applied from the bottom of the Cosmetics tab (which is the right side of the same menu that has your skill tree, items, etc in it).

All currently equipped skills are listed at the bottom of that tab. You select the one you want, and it will provide a list of relevant cosmetics that you own. It will also provide a link to the store to buy new ones.
