Why can't i stash maps?

So i bought the maps stash tab a while back and some maps i just can't figure out how to store. I try to stash them but nothing happens. Affinities are turned on and i can take already stored maps out and put them back in, but others just won't work.

After investigating for a bit, i found out, that they are differently colored. The more light-greyish ones i can't store, but the bit darker ones i can. What is going on there?

It appears you are playing in Standard.

Each League, and new series of Maps is released. Your old maps, by default, stay from whatever series they came from. Any new maps that drop will be from the newest series.

The Maps stash tab can only store maps from one series.

You can, if you want, convert all your maps to the newest series.

This can be done for everything in your Map Tab all at once (see note at the bottom of the map tab screen about converting maps). I've heard individual maps can also be converted, but I've never tried.

AFAIK, converting maps is irreversible, so be sure you want to do it before starting.

If you have an empty Maps Tab, it can be manually switched among different series of maps on the tab options screen.
