Build up your defences and damage

This build shows improving paths of gear-set-ups. Mana, damage and defences are balanced a bit different with the weapon, belt, amulet, used or unused auras and clusters. You can switch the set-ups fast.

1.) Levelling - Until t12 maps

Stack 80% poisonchances with passives and poison on hit-support for production of HoA-virulences with your own spells.

Head always as early as possible to medium clusters for "pure agony" and cheap small clusters for auras.

Relaxed master your manamanagement around lvl 50 with the 2-3 small clusters "sublime form" and "uncompromising".

Easy from lvl 60 you start to optimize your damage with "pure agony" on full 9 medium clusters. For this insert 3 cheap large clusters #7 / #5-passives voices into your tree.

Simultan start to outsource res, attr, bleeding- and ailment-immunities from gear onto the transferpoints of clusterjewels and on ghastly jewels.

Gather your fellowship.
Move the aura determination and other skills over to the spectres.
Cloth the AG in a Garb of Ephemeral, throw all hexes with the AG's helmet Ylfeban's Trickery.

With the rings circle of nostalgia, more skill-reservation-efficiencies and a shaper-ring you manage your mana to activate the big tanky auras grace + flesh and stone to stack all global basic defences and keystones.

When you get a watcher's eye with es on hit and cap on the tree 90-100% spell suppression and crafted well rolled flasks you are already geared for almost all content.


3.) Lvl 80: Boss-Hunter 20 M - The Damage - The Bloodline

Harmonically in simultaneity you tripple up your ehp around lvl 70-90:
Arriving in the second and third large cluster you max also your defences by further more aurastacking and switch in more jewels and small clusters.
You reach an unique record of 1M-inf*Ehp.

Run Sanctum eg with srs, or faster hire a Lycia-service on tft, for the Herald-bloodline Bitter Heresy.


4.) Lvl 90: MinMax 50-200 M shaper-damage

Melding of the flesh and a sapphire flask raise ele-max-resis to tanky 85-90%.

Outsource all needed attributes, resis, bleeding-avoidances, spell suppression and mana-reg from gear on jewels, clustertransfers, implicits, tattoos and league-mechanics to get more free passives and capacities for damage, tankyness and qol.

Attractive corruptions & doublecorruptions are gathered and best rare pieces are sniped or crafted.

The hunt for some additional fitting megalomaniacs clusters with hundreds of interesting combinations begins.


5.) The Highway to damage 200-4000 M

Around lvl 95 when you want to full max you decide to gain the b.i.s.-status on each piece of gear, jewel and each implicit.

You crawl into the final HoA skill-lvls 34-40.
Arriving in the 3rd voices clusters you slay the last Ubers.
Your HoA-base-damage skyrocks with the raising gemlevels and virulences. In effect you need less minionpoison for high dot.

Now you scale finally into HoA-crits with Maata's Teaching for total convincing 200-2000M.
Get a #3 flasks-mageblood for speed and qol and exchange Grace instead into a Jade-flask.

In b.i.s.-gear also peaks of 2000 to 8000M burstdamage are stinged.

The crawler raises - Herald of Agony caught the POE world by storm

Scorpions & Spirits, Agony & Arakaali

HoAg, HoP, HoT, HoI, HoA

Originally five heralds, one for each of the five damagetypes in wraeclast, were sent out from the islands of Chris to boost the clear speed at the beaches of Wraeclast.

Two heralds were designed as outliners to be empowered as new mainskills. The gang of of purity, heralds in the mortal physical realm, fighted hard, but slow and melee.

Last the only one single raised. Shaped as a scorpion the herald of chaos was immortal born in the endless dunes of arachnophilia and crawled in Lionswatch out of the sands of the Twilight Strand to raise his small dirty sting.

A long time ago - The meta of herald-stackers [3.4] to [3.12]

In these ancient leagues all heralds were often crossover stacked with more heralds to be elemental converted, supported by the aura hatred, the grips of the counsil and the keystone elemental equilirium. These heraldstackers were often the leading meta-skills in [3.4] Delve and following.

Of course fast and merciless in [3.5] Betrayal league the multiple-damage-scaling of herald-stackers and in [3.7] Legion the HoA-virulences-damage and agony-uptime with cluster-notables were deep, dark and bitter nerfed by 40%.


The Mana guardians

Finally as Mana Guardian this chaoscrawler caught the POE world by storm when POEDan took it to a whopping 1359 hardcore delve level in [3.7] Legion. He had something like 27K energy shield, 40K armor, and well over 1 million in Shaper DPS. In Metamorph league [3.9], the build was used again by Daser in SSFHC delve competition and he finished second place with 1071 depth with far less gear than Dan's 1085 depth Baron Zombie guardian.


The deep nerf

A second time in [3.10] Delirium the hammer swinged - another 30% nerf to HoAg-damage was thrown out. The support-spectres as well as the animated guardian lost their former immortality from [3.13] Ritual league by league until [3.15] Expedition and even further sinking into the [3.19] Lake of Kalandra.

The Arachnophobias and Arachnophilias

In [3.13] Ritual I introduced the new guide "The Arachnophobia Allstars" focussing much more on armour- and aura-stacking with more clusters and aul's uprising, with iron reflexes on Skin of the Lords, solely exclusive designed with immortal minions, with evasions of minion-blindings. With more curses and full withers I buffed up spirit offering, in that time another 30% more chaosdamage. I optimized the pathing and skills and supports and with fastings I reached almost 100% flasks-uptimes before the famous belt mageblood was born. I reworked the selection of aura-notables on small clusters using their buffs of [3.11] Harvest to optimize Grace with stalwart commanders. I combinated HoA with withering spiders of arakaali's fang. The build was designed as total tank and I reached in that times immortal 5k es on block stinging in 5M shaper-damage. In the Delve depth race the build reached rank 3.

Leaderboards [3.14] to [3.15]

So in [3.14] Ultimatum the HoA-allstars-guardian was popular again and No1-rank in the solo-leaderboards of the Guardian-leaderboards, No1 in the forum, and leading the arachnophobiatic dream-team of scorpions and spiders with arakaali's fang. HC lvl 100 Rank 1 was easy reached too.

In [3.15] Expedition the tipping level-point of HoA lowered from lvl 31 down to lvl 29, enabling different weapons and different amulets.

The big buff [3.16] to [3.18]

One league later in [3.16] Scourge the damage of HoA-virulences was buffed around 25%. The new awakened gems were upgrading the HoA totally awesome too.

The auras determination, grace, and as well discipline were hard buffed in relation to stats on gear. Ghost dance and divine shield were introduced on the tree for Hybrids and CI's. Armour overall was huge buffed 50% against bigger hits.

With the nerfs to Glancing Blows, to the memory vault and to blindings the Allstars turned into the reformations of the full-block-editions, Tempestshield shaped HoA as autobomber.

Balaar reached with HoA the new poe-record in speed-levelling.

In total the damage reached 90% more damage as one league before. 24M.

In [3.17] Astramentis / Siege of the Atlas managuardian leaderboard rank 1 was climbed again after 3 days.

In [3.18] Sentinel the keystone 1M views of arachnophilias was scored.

For science a pob-squire-glascannon was optimized. 89.7 M shaper damage. In 150k ehp like common squishy skeleton-meta-mages-builds.




The crawler raises 200% [3.19] to [3.23]

In [3.19] Kalandra poison-minions got buffed around 200%. The King of Sting in his mix of 60% physical and 40% chaos-damage was full prepared to raise again into s-tier like Raging Spirits. The hexes temporal chains and despair were buffed imba into the top. Skin of the Lords was buffed. 4w socketed triad grips became the one and only b.i.s. The beloved classic balls of lightning needed to be removed by storm burst. Another step into 40M damage without all meta-expensive gear was taken.

In [3.19] the Necro got the perfect 8th HoA-link-support deluxe with "unnatural strength" in her ascendancy, so I optimized and introduced the new HoA-Necro - The Arachnophilia Allstars.

In [3.21] Crucible the Pathfinder joined the Allstars-team with 30% more chaos-damage of withers and her easy 100% uptime of utility-flasks.


New defences

With some buffs in the reservation-efficiencies and ressources of spell suppression moving from gear into the tree and the halvings of molten shell and melding of the flesh, and reacting to the ele-penetrations of most Ubers, the build enhanced in it's 3th large cluster, the 5th to the 9th medium clusters and travelled into the eastern world of the tree into 100% spell suppression.


100 virulences - 100M damage

In [3.23] Affliction the helmet-enchant and alternate skillqualities were removed, on the buff-side default HoA-skill-quality was transformed into virulences and so in result the amulet ashes of the stars was very nice boosted.

With the new ball lightnings of orbiting 110 virulences are reliable stacked in 0.3 secs.

Poisonous concoction was chosen as the new easy levellingskill.

The final HoA-tipping-point lvl 34, up to lvl 39, was claimed. The poe-engine hardcaps the crawler's dps-dot.


Also in [3.23] the HoA-Trickster was published.





2M

The second keystone of totally combined 2M arachnophobiatic views in united 4 arachnophil ascendancies-forums dropped on the 22.4.24 in Necropolis.




HoA arrives in 250M

In [3.24] the former default HoA-virulences- generator stormburst was happy buried in peace and good mood in the graveyards of the Necropolis.
After many leagues cyclone is reborn again as valuable channelskill for 100 virulences. The ball lightnings of orbiting and homing tornados of turbulences fit perfect into the movement-set with full damage-uptime.

The returning tattoos buffed the build in value of 5-10 passives.
The Sin's rebirth-flask grants easy withers alltime.

With the +2 Maata's Teaching sceptre HoA-crits scaled imba into the top in low budget.

It seems that the mageblood turns much easier to farm each league. With the changes to the sapphire flask the melding and 85-90% all max-resis returned again in lategame.

The Champ arrives in the team and can stack high 95% flat damagereductions and 250 k armour.



[3.25] Settlers - Half a billion

Spell block, ward and endurance charges were buffed, in exchange determination was nerfed. The max HoA-skill-lvl 40 is claimed with the new +8 amulets.

The time arrived to Jugg. Great regenerations in all juice.
Hiero- and Gladiator-variations were pathed, last the Scion launched and the circle of the Allstars closed.


Phrecia

In "The Legacy of Phrecia" cheapest geared the build reached 660M, up to 1.1 billion damage in the herald-event-ascendancy.




[3.26] Secrets of the Atlas to [3.28] Mirage: One to four to eight billions

Reacting to the [3.26] Mercenary-group-debuff of 25% higher damage taken we turned from CI over into hybrid life+es and doubled all active recovery.
In a new fellowship the qol-buffed Spectres and AG sides us.

The [3.27] Keepers of Flame new core Herald-bloodline fits tight and is adding the inofficial 15th HoA-link Chaotic Might.

In [3.28] Mirage Awakened supports were removed. Instead HoA-crits and a new Soul Eater-HoA were buffed.

250 M in lowest budget top tanky, up to 2 B, and as Total-DD-groupplay-necro-glascannon nice 4 - 8 B are stinged.



Meta-ready?

With these huge buffs to movement, qol, defences and damage the Herald of Agony is probably meta-minion ready again. I don't see since [3.24] another minion-build to scale up better. B.i.s. geared in high-budget 1-8 B damage are stinged in tanky 250k-1M ehp.

To compare: Holy Relics reach only 20% of the capacities in damage of HoA and most Pure-Spectres are too squishy in t-17. HoA is as downside a bit more complex to build, but needs only a much lower budget.

Why HoAg? | The Mechanics | The Countdown


Heralds and minions are often chosen for their quality of life and automatic damage-qualities. While we ourself are already relaxed looting, our herald finishs our job and cleans the screen. Everything dies around us in autopilot-mod.

Simply by the smooth movement of the channelskill cyclone we automatical launch poisoning fast hitting spells which autotrigger a ranged fighting scorpion-minion.


The defences

The Arachnophobia Allstars are using a special combination of gear like the shield Aegis aurora and Skin of the lords. The build stacks skill-efficiencies and spectres to use all big tanky auras. Then high buffed global defences multiply your Es, your flasks, the aura determination and triple in grace.
This way the long row layers of all defences is lined up: flat dr, armour, spell suppression, evasion, block and spell block.

Following the Allstars take wonderful the intensive full bath in the united composition of all northern tanky keystones. Ghost Dance, Divine Shield, Wicked Ward and Supreme Decadence recover, regenerate and recharge in quadrophony.
Infinitive recovery is overstacked with es on block, es when hit, life on hit and es on hit.

The mechanics

In this unique style the best of both worlds of the tanky eastern and western passivetree is united. The eastern deterministic uptimes of evasion, ghost dance and 100% spell suppression protect you in the nondeterministic downtimes of western blockings.

Offensive it's very effective and balanced with it's crawling immortal scorpion-minion. In higher minion-skill-levels the herald of chaos is probably the highest damage-scaling minion in Wraeclast and is buffed into more than a billion dps by cluster-stacking the medium notable "pure agony" + beyond crits, curses and the Lycia-bloodline.

It's center is the dirty tailsting, enlarging by the HoAg the smaller aoe of the channelskill cyclone into two screens of top-tier-range cleared five times each second.

The Allstars define unmatched flexibility with unending possibilities in the whole poe-system. Dozens skills can be utilized and transformed into triggering in high fullspeed the chaos-minion-projectile-damage of the ranged attacks of the scorpion.
Ball lightnings, cyclone, tornadoes and 50 more fast skills can be used.

In this build a dramatic cocktail of 3 different damagequalities is mixed and united. With tempestshield, autotriggered tornadoes, void spheres and storm brands the herald is autobombing, with minion-poison 35M are balanced into continuous d.o.t., and the peak-damage is active channelling whirling cyclone to launch orbiting ball lightnings tickling the chaos-clone-beast-crawler's tail into fullspeed and initializing 100M to 8000M-fullscreen-chainexplosions.

Herald of Ash is used simply as 7th link for fire- and ignite builds for faster mapping or as wormblaster-meme. Herald of Thunder is builded with self-damaging loops as autobomber specialized in mapping. Herald of Purity was a long time sucessfull as bosser, Herald of Ice needs to be optimized again.

HoAg has huge range of attacks and 5 - 10 - 35 - 105 piercing, splitting, forking and returning projectiles.

Enjoy full fast mapping with the shortlegged crawler in endgame and facetank bosses like U-Sirus, U-Cortex, U-Exarch. The crawling dirty sting-king reaches millions more of damage than other herald-builds. It shines with it's characteristics in full chaos-damage and unique 200-8000M dps in endgame and high content. You reach also 1M ehp, that's 2-8x more than most other minion- and herald-builds. Let it sting!

The nine useable ascendancies alternate 20%-60% in damage, tankyness and recovery and have their own specialities.

Without much poe-experiences start relaxed as Trickster into PoHoA for total best tankyness.
With good poe-experiences and the know-how of balancing and to avoid sometimes dot go Necro to kick'n sting more damage.

Be careful as Pathfinder: One boss removes flask-effects.

With storm brands of indecision and void spheres easy. Tanky. Top 1 wide range.

I played Pathfinder to lvl 100 and Trickster deathless in lvl 90-100 in full delirium-beyond-juiced 10k wisps-affliction. As Champ lvl 90-99 were done with 2 deaths, relaxed in low 3k es, in allflames-necropolis high juiced maps, b2b, rogueexiles, delirium and beyond. Jugg died 4x in lvl 80-100 in max-juided beyond - delirium - ritual - ultimatum mapping, Scion lvl 80-100 died 6x in 3.26 16.5 content.
While most other builds go only for 20-200k ehp, this build's focus on defences, enabling 1M ehp and lvl 100 in all content.

Also without top-gear: Large es/ block is most safe against poe's lags and disconnects.

Half an aurabot: In groupplay and for companions great supporting with auras and curses.
As the DD top huge 4 - 8 B dps.

Heavy ground damage can still kill you (exception is our immunity to burning, shocking and caustic ground).

HoA-convocation into proximity shields has a 1.5 sec cd.

Only 100-150% increased movementspeed.

Ramping up full damage is 0.3 sec delayed.

Overall not best, not cheap and not easy leaguestarter!
Shield is expensive (1 div) in the first days of leagues.
In leaguestart often alternative 2c gear is needed in these slots because of pricefixers/ high prices.
High prizes are often leaguestart prizes. Ongoing in league they will change. Support and demand changes through the first weeks much in trade.
Not cheap when you max your watcher's eye and amulet - but still much cheaper until 2000M as other meta-builds.

In Ssf/Ruthless HoAg is strong extreme not optimized, but much more difficult to collect the clusters.

Complex to max - not easy to optimize all mechanics and clusters. You will need your time and some know-how to scale HoA-damage, recovery, auras, keystones and jewels and to balance the mana. But as result you learn in this build much many core-mechanics, global defences and tanky keystones in the whole northern and eastern tree.

When you take the tanky nodes "only" 200 - 2000 millions singletarget shaper-dps. That is more than enough for all ubers. You will rush through the maps with your 420 M forking mapping-damage. You have no downtimes of your damage because you are tank and you have ranged DD's, dot and autobomb-damage. But sorry, you need one second longer against the Ubers compared to the only-bossers in the neighboorship.

Because the poe-engine hardcaps the HoA-lvl and dot-damage not easy to buff above 8000M damage.

Calculate them without increased poison-durations, but instead increase them by 20%, adding a thumbed 0.4 sec for the delayed fadings of HoA-virulences. Physical Crits

HoA's original 60% physical-damage could impale with rotten claws-clusters and impale-spectre.
Minion-bleedings could be scaled with abyss-jewels, renewal, pride-spectre, vulnerability and tempest rising boots.

Elemental Crits

Critical ignites could be procced with added fire damage, hallow, raze and pillage and renewal. Cold-damage with hatred, grips of the counsil and as utility freezes with hypothermia support, Lightning with shockings, renewal and the Doryani's Prototype-Merc.

Dot-multiplier, EE, exposures, the fitting curses, converting triad grips, skitterbots and penetrations buff beyond of course.

But in 100% chaos-conversion with withers and poison HoA-scaling remain by now the best.




■ Direct buffs ■

A minion-offence-mastery, "fearsome force" for HoA-crits and "death attunement" for +1 spectre add i.e. in maps HoA-Unholy might after kill
The +1 chaos mastery "corruption" buffs withers and reaches HoA tipping lvl 34.
Blindings, with a dark seer, on a jewel or tattoo, add accuracies for some HoA-hits.

Lethe Shade

Perfect against not blockable damagetypes. When you reached 95% ailments-immunities it's a strong addition against the uber-dot-bosses.

It fills up the small gaps until you moved over a ground-effect, until the next recovering es on block, until your AG and Spectres catched up, until frost shield staged up, and until maximal es on hit was procced by the watcher's eye.


Magebane

Perfect to reach fast and cheap 100% spell suppression.
Without magebane simply switch in the Green Nightmare-jewel or Elegant Form on a cluster.


Divine shield

offers much regenerations, especially when they are most needed against bleedings and vulnerability-curses.


Variation: Chaos Inoculation

Optional you exchange life-ehp and the holy life-flask into 100% chaos-resistances. Tankyness against Sirus, Kosis and in many chaos-mods is gained.

The Amulet - Ashes, Uul & Aul



+3 Replica Dragonfang's Flight is a strong starting amulet when you snipe it cheap.

Then "Ashes of the stars" best buffs up damage. The generating of virulences, tornados or storm burst is enhanced and the quality and level of more active utility-skills, like withering step, resis of spectres and buffs of golems is supported.

B.i.s. is the additional implicit "You can apply an additional curse". All the cheaper amulet-starter-variations get much stronger with this implicit also.

The Ashes or Defiance are more than enough for all poe-content, but when you farmed really a lot currency with good atlas-strategies in the late endgame, a rare 2x +4 = +8 to all / chaos / physical skillgem-levels is the totally b.i.s. and lead the Allstars into 1B to 7B dps, deluxe-bonus is +4 to min. endurance-charges.


Starters and variations



The choice of tanks is the Defiance of Destiny.

A rare amulet including +1/ +2 /+4 gemlevels and granting endurance charges / aura-reservation-efficiencies etc. is a strong variation also.

Aul's uprising for one more large tanky aura is interesting, eg purity of elements let you use melding of the flesh early and buffs companions tanky.

The stranglegasp can be xtreme strong anointed 4 times and corrupted to a rare: Death Attunement, Charisma, Whispers of doom, etc.

"Uul-Netol's" enables to add a second synergizing skill like eg skeleton-archers.

The cheap Stone of Lazwhar caps fast spellblockings or enables to switch out tempestshield.



Anoint the amulet

When you need mana always anoint "charisma".

Awesome is also "Entrench" for spell suppression to spam the life-flask nonstop.

In lower content you could anoint "death attunement" for +1 aura-spectre.

With a +4 / +8 rare amulet in lategame, or without AG as cursebot, "Whispers of doom" is in some set-ups advanced for the second and third curse.

"Gravepact" adds a bit dps.

On a starter-amulet the best early cheap anoint is "practical application" for resis/attr.

Use only with high life on hit watcher's eye: Rainbow strides add high 20% spellblock and as implicit suppression. With a bit more stacking spellblock you could deactivate tempest shield.

Before we obtain chaos-resis and high life on hit on the watcher's eye, rare boots with the elevated prefix "unaffected by poison" are needed at Gloom-shrines for our keyjewel "golden rule".

Or wear instead eg Eldritch boots with ailments-immunities on a suffix and crafted as eldritch-eater-of-worlds-implicit and with spell suppression, resis, attr, ward etc. As exarch-implicit dropped brittle or sapped ground should be crafted.


More alternatives

Bubonic trails with amanamu's gaze are b.i.s. for mana-management and could be combinated with the firesong-jewel.

We recoup 60% elemental damage of the ailment-triggering hits beside with our belt. We can use the suppression-mastery to avoid ailments from suppressed spell-damage.

We have also rare flask-suffixes free to choose. Craft instant counter-suffixes against ailments with instilling orbs on your flasks to optimize reactiontimes.


Fire

Our armour and block don't work on heavy, critical Ignites. Ignites will kill you in 500+ levels of deep delve, T16 legions and at juiced exarch-altars. We have a bad stacking of Ignites also in the first second of staging up our frostshield and our es don't start recharging on burning ground.
So we choose urgent the burning-gound-immunities and reduced ignites in the Pantheon Minor Soul of Abberath.

Ignite immunities on jewels or rings are optimal beside or on a flask or a cluster "fire attunement".


Freeze

Get in important permament anti-chain freeze against shaper, ueber-elder, the hidden, etc. for these fights benchcrafted on boots or change your pantheon to "Soul of the Brine King".

We can activate the es-mastery to not be frozen when es started recharging recently. Or use a cluster "hibernator" or anti-freeze sapphire-flask.


Shocks

We are 100% immune when we use tempest shield.

With 30% overcapped elemental resistances we are prepared against scorch, ee and exposures.

The tanky balancings



On youtube atlas-strategies are guided to multiply your experience gained for the contemporary league. Delving boosts perfect exp in lower levels, in the final levels often beyond, crimson-ore, breach, harbinger and abyssal are recommended.

You do not want to die in the levels 98 to 100 and to be honest: GGG designed all mapmods, altars and bosses to detect your last vulnerability and to kill you when you miss only one defensive layer.

Start to check step by step the spoiler "checklist defences", lower the juice, remain afraid of in wispswoods rippy 3000%++ empowered soul-eaters, and balance not needed damage above 50M instead into some of the following tanky optimizations.



Omens


Wear an Omen of Amelioration in your inventory.



Tanky Charges

Use the vitality-spectre or a small or an unique megalomaniac cluster "enduring composure" for endurance charges.


Tanky Tree

Fast path to:

■ 3 passives for a life-mastery, i.e. "Blood Drinker", in Skin of Lords with "15% increased maximum Life if there are no Life Modifiers on Equipped Body Armour",
■ 3-5 passives for the es-mastery 'Written in Blood',
■ in high content when AG is ripping too often: 4 into poison-mastery "Serpentine Spellslinger" for better own crit-immunity,
■ 3-5 passives for the shield-mastery "Arcane guarding",
■ to more slots for +2 cold-resi-jewels and into "Survivalist",
■ 2 into 'Entrench' to spam the life-flask nonstop,

Tear up the wall


Blocking with whole walls is a level-up in safety and protection.

In a warding basis you can combine your skills with freaky frostwalls - linked to cwdt lvl 1 or cast when stunned they are autotriggered and simply the best against all types of ranged attacking enemies.

I use them also for the encounters in delve and for heists. In these situations frostwalls are BiS.

Frost walls length is fine on lvl 1.


Tanky channeling

Support cwc by excommunicate or infused channeling.


Tanky Es-reg

Frostshield binded to cwc, cws or to cwdt adds 1000-4000 es / sec as buffer. Choose the skill-level which feels comfortable.



No bosses, no t-17

When you are not a very experienced player, combat the hardest content like t-17 bosses, U-Cortex and The Feared on your level-ups.
They remain dangerous. One too slow reactiontime or one not known aoe-attack are not welcomed in these final levels.

All other content you can farm and do not depend on 5-ways or other carrying-services like other builds.


Boss Hunting - The Ubers

/ U-Neglect in 12 sec /

The Ubers are designed as final endgame-goals - not to facetank, not to block, not to evade, disabling your recovering, and allover penetrating your resistances with oneshot-aoe's and deathly fast instant dot.
While in ordinary content of PoE the Allstars build up multiple layers of all global defences and can facetank almost all the pinnacle-bosses, against Ubers the balancing into flat damagereductions, dot-reductions, max-resis, damage, damage-uptime and movement is mandatory.

That means also you can counter ubers a bit better with 10B cast-on-death or other glascannon-builds. But the Allstars do the job the same with some ups and downs very well. Good geared they are down in a few seconds.

You will need every slot and every implicit optimized and also the know-how of all ubers' attacks. You need against the Ubers strong gear to scale the HoA-damage even more up in the dps-race against their increasing aoe-s filling the uber-arenas (Maven, Sirus).

Against the Ubers major attacks maximal hit taken-numbers are often as important as ehp in the pob.


In my experiences it's probably most easy to reach the farming-quality-status against:

Uber-Cortex > Uber-Neglect > U-Fear > U-Exarch > UU-Elder > U-Dread > U-Eater > U-Shaper > U-Sirus > U-Maven



Mandatory defences

■ you should have reached 100% permament freeze-ailment-immunities against the cold-dealers shaper, elder, ueber elder, maven, aul, sirus / Shock immunities against world-eater, sirus, cortex, maven / Ignite immunities against sirus, exarch, atziri, maven.
■ you need corrupted blood immunities on a jewel/ the belt-jewel and in the Pantheon burning-gound-immunities against Sirus
■ You need life+es on hit with the watcher's eye



Skills

■ Selfcasted Molten Shells, Vaal Molten Shells and Frostshields makes you tanky in phases like Shaper's bullet hell, Exarch's Thousand Suns, Sirus Meteors, and also The Maven's Memory Game.

■ Change out the pierce/ greater fork-gem of your herald-of-agony. I.e. Vile toxins is the prefered support or predator.



Damage

■ 30M damage should have been reached.


Movement

■ Don't try to facetank their biggest mainattacks, degen-effects and aoe-s.
All their minor attacks you can tank.
■ You need practise in their attacking-mods. Almost all have accustic signals.
■ Kite: "Hunger" of Uber-Eater, "Take this" of Uber-Maven
■ PoE-bosses react very, very slow when they need to turn around.
Move and circle every 2-3 seconds to the backside of the Uber.
■ For movement use flamedash


The b.i.s.-upgrades

When you still not ran out of currency, you should upgrade:

■ the amulet with the implicit "you can apply an additional curse" for one more curse
■ the mageblood for 89% max-resis with melding of the flesh
■ other cheap stuff ;-) like a third mod on your watcher's eye, b.i.s. and double rings- and shield-implicits, some more jewels- and clusters-corruptions, b.i.s. rolled unique megalomaniacs, etc. ...



Specialisation (... and Individualisation)

Some love the relaxed tank, some want the oneshot-killer. Some like the league fast and cheap, others the long race for full b.i.s.
Everyone will find his goal in this comprehensive guide.



In fulljuiced maps 50-100M damage were always enough for me and I did not need more. Already when you get the fourth or fifth medium cluster with 'pure agony' you will rush through the maps topspeed. But there are faster builds of course out there than minions.

This build safe you in endgame with unique optimized defences first.
In such decisions Poe is often about finding the fitting balances of offensive, defensive, recovery and qol for your goals and content.
... Do you want to farm fast, do you want to overjuice the mods for best loot, do you want to boss-hunt, do you want solo-self-levelling to lvl 100, which content like the ubers, nightmares, delve, blight, groupplay etc. do you prefer or do you need an Allrounder build for the mix without too much gear-swaps... ?




As example I am myself the typical min-maxer solo-gamer-type. I love to optimize a build and trade for best gear in all slots. I like to level to 100, to optimize the build more and more and more with the final passives and implicits. I enjoy my dopamin with fullfilling my b.i.s.-gear.
And the visuals of spells, like ignites of raze and pillage, skills and mapdesigns are important for me to love playing a game. I love to try out and optimize all kind of skills, gear and supports. And I enjoy to write+optimize this build too, to find a unique build like here full optimizing auras, all defences and many keystones.

On the opposite I dislike pressured repeated speedgrinding. I prefer continuous loot-explosions above hoping for too rare jackpot-drops. I hate the grinding and picking up splinters and clicking doors to open. Too much dungeon-maps, Alvas and temples, and cleaning up kingsmarch-map-runner's stashes bore me instantly, crafting is not so satisfying for me, in hardcore I panic of loosing beloved gear, I prefer facetanking instead kiting. I not love mini-games like betrayal or crop-rotation. I execrate to commit to memory map-layouts for speedlevelling and racing. I mislike hiding juiced content behind high currency -investments and love instead improving and investing my currency into my build and gear. Atlas-strategies which need mandatory backtracking? No, not with the Allstars.




My own favourite is the dramatic playstyle of the HoA-scorpion. To choose and buff a virulences-generating skill-set-up which then again buffs the scorpion-minion which is then cloning yourself is high fun. .... lol, hehe, exactly all this is offered by this multiplied scaling Herald-skill. Firing the balls out, stacking virulences and damage was for me the most wonderful and enjoying playstyle in whole poe until now. It's a match!

■ Can use easy and a lot poison on hit int-tattoos.
■ Can easy switch tempestshield out. Then don't forget shock-immunities and counterattacks like cwdt - void spheres for autotriggered damage.

■ Easy Fullblock without Glancing Blows.
■ Flexible ring. Can push out Circle of Nostalgia.

Checklist defences

Sorry, this time there is no TL;DR available, this is itself the TL;DR to crawl beyond red T-16's.
This checklist summarizes 20 layers of defences out of all spoilers above.
The stacked 200k up to 2M ehp will show immortality to you.

1. Check your elemental- and your chaos-resistances.

- Your elemental resistances have to be capped and have to be all 75++%.
In t-17 and against Ubers 85-90% are much better.
- Your chaos-resis should have reached in maps 50-75% against chaos-dd-rogue exiles, chaos-dd-bosses, in ultimatums, etc.
Use 1x +43% chaos-resis on one circle of nostalgia.


3. Get the central permament layers of defences against bleeding and against corrupted blood

- Get permament bleeding-avoidances on 2 ghastly jewels.
Double one of them in the belt darkness enthroned.
Bleedings while cycloning are lethal.
- Get beyond permament "corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you" on one implicit on one jewel.
A lot bosses can kill you very fast without.
- Alternative use while levelling the Ghastly Theater shield, in lategame Mageblood for the flask-suffix, or high flasks-uptimes, or alternate the minor pantheon to ralakesh.


3. Check your flasks.

- Do you have antibleeding on one flask before it's permanent reached on jewels?
- Do you have autotriggered flasks like "used when you start bleeding"?
- anti-ignites before you got immunities on Sin's rebirth autotriggered "used when you become ignited"?
- Other flasks enchanted "When you hit a rare or unique enemy"?
- Is the quality of all your flasks 20-30%? With rare flasks charges gained when hit, less charges used or longer duration?


4. Check your pantheon for burning ground-immunity!!

- Did you maxed with divine vessels the minor Pantheon of Abberath (often in the summit or estuary map) and have immunity to burning ground? It's most important to recharge your es.
When not use "fire attunement" on a cluster.


5. Do you have active recovery?

- Use a shaper-ring life on spellhit.
- Use an elegant hubris supreme decadence to use your instant life-flask simultan for your es.
- The watcher's eye with the discipline- / vitality-mod es+life on hit is the key for high active es+life recovery.


6. Do you have enough mana-reg for nonstop life+es on hit?

- Use best on the shaper-ring mana on spellhit.
- Do you have enough unreserved mana, 70-110, and further also 50-60 mana-reg and 2% mana-recoupings, so that all tanky skills and in all times es on hits are continuous triggered?
- Whirl in close range to bosses to always keep up the highest es on hit.


7. Check your tanky auras and your tanky spectres

- Did you stacked all your auras? Do you have activated all the auras "Determination" and "Grace" and "Discipline", and "Vitality" and "Flesh and Stone" and "Tempestshield"?
- Outsource 3-5 auras on your spectres.
- Get a life-flask "of the necromancer" for the companions.


8. Do you often die of ailments, crits and stuns?

- Use fast the poison-mastery against by crits inflicted ailments.
- Get additional bleeding- and ailment-avoidances on abyss-jewels and other jewel-implicits.
- Cloth the AG in Garb of the Ephemeral against all slowings and crits.
- Start with the Brine King against freezings and stuns, with the AG in Garb of Ephemeral switch to Arakaali.


9. Do you own all important jewels?
And obtained 85%+ max-resis?
And reached 100% spell suppression?


- Are you ready for taste the hate? Or better melding the flesh with +2 max-cold-resis-jewels in high poe-content?
- 100% spell suppression not reached? Stack "elegant form" (or "untouchable" or "aerialist") on small and unique medium clusters to fix also combined your ailment avoidances until you obtained it on the watcher's eye, sol and tattoos.


10. Check your other tanky skills

- Do you trigger Immortal call or spam Molten Shell? And use Vaal Discipline? Use them often!
- While your defensive skill gems like determination, molten shell, frost shield, (vaal) discipline, grace, flesh and stone, cast when stunned are levelling up, you will get a lot more defense with raising levels of course. When you have too much too weak lvl 1 gems socketed it is dangerous and you have to level them a bit before returning in high content.

11. Other Basics & Ascendancy & Playstyle

- Do you have all 4 ascendancies in the labyrinths done?
- Rebalanced overcapped stats and suffixes into other useful stats?
- Use Runegrafts
- Ingame fullgeared it's practical often the best choice to search high density to run into the next mobs. More es on block, more es and life on hit on multiple targets and more HoA-virulences are triggered.


12. Check all the league-mechanics

They often support to cap tanky stats and add high defences.
Eg use the new Djinn-supports.
Like cyclone - imbued excommunicate / infused channelling.
Visit Necro-forum-page 132.


13. Check your blockings

- Do you have maxed high spellblock? When not you need blockings on Rumi's concotion?
It's your priority for recovery against the spellhits of the big bosses!
- Do you have 30% attackblock and 50% evasion of grace?


14. Do you stacked enough recovery? To not die too often in dot and degen?

Raw ES does not grant survivability, substain does.
Stack more recovery.

Ranking of all recovery-mechanics by investment and effectivity:


> life flask (+2-3k life-recovery)
> the jewel Elegant Hubris for keystone supreme decadence + an instant life-flask (3 x +1400 es)
> watcher's eye discipline-mod es on hit (for 2k-3k es/sec active recovery)
> watcher`s eye vitality-mod (eg on warlord-spectre) (2k-3k life on hit/sec)
> Aegis aurora: es on spell block and attackblock, b.i.s. in high density (800 es/block, with iron reflexes 2000 es/block)
> frost shield (2-4k es/sec buffer)
> molten shell (/ or Immortal call, against hits 5000 es buffer)
> vaal molten shell (against hits 10000 es buffer)
> ghost dance (equal to 2500 es recovered when 3x hit)
> shaper ring (500 life on spellhit /sec)
> vitality-spectre 160 life/sec

15. Check your flat dr. Check your max hit taken. Check your ehp. Check your life+es.

The build balances much into defensive layers, mitigation, flat damagereductions, avoidances, immunities and recovery and not much into increased life+es.
Captain Lances prooved with his 20-mirrors int-stackers that also high 25k es-bubbles can be melted down in 0.5 sec in high poe-content.
Collecting more recovery, damage-avoidances, pdr + armour, +max-resis, building up more layers of defences and last not least a bit movement is finally much better as simply raw life + es.


■ Reach 18k phys- and chaos-max hit taken unbuffed.
■ Reach 300k ehp to feel immortality in almost all poe-content.


"Ehp" in the pob-calculations matters for high density, damagepeaks in maps and for all fast hitters.
"Max hit taken" instead matters for hard hits of outliners like the Shaper slam and Ubers, for stacked high juiced map-mods multiplying damage, and a few instant crits taken.

Against oneshots you need fullgeared a total minimum around 18k max hit taken, 4000 life+es when all your defences are builded up. Estimated and thumbed. In my experiences. In juiced t17 maps. In simulacrums wave 15 and against ubers 4-5 k es+life are recommended.

Get more ehp and es to get more reaction time in damage-peaks and for uber-bosses when your frostshield or molten shell and all flasks are simultanous on their cooldowns.
With 90 % pdr, 18k max hit taken, you will never be oneshotted and you will get healed fast and nonstop by aegis aurora and the watcher's eye life + es on hit.

■■■■■ When your global defences, auras and armour are builded up 5.5 k are enough.
■■■■ With aegis aurora and crit-reductions zu btained path for 5 k
■■■ With 100% spell suppression 4.5 k are top tanky
■■ With a watcher's eye es on hit and high flask-uptimes 4-4.5k are great. In valdos and simulacrums 4-4.5k are mandatory needed against the big hits and against some ubers a hybrid variation 4k es + 2k life is guided in "boss hunting - the ubers" too.
■ With 18k phys- and chaos-max hit taken unbuffed, 100% ailment-immunties, increased max-resis and 90% flat dr 3.5k - 4k will show immortality to you in t17.

Es is multiplied a lot, 3x, with your SoL and passives.

More es and ehp can be fast switched in:


■ Go hybrid life+es (+1800 life)
■ Get a Runegraft of Fortress (+500 es)
■ Use with SoL 3 passives for a life-mastery 15% incr max life (+500 life)
■ Use the green / the blue nightmare, or small cluster elegant form to wear sorcerer-boots with high es-base (+500-1000 es)
■ Add more flat dr and phys dr (10% eg equal to +400 life)

16. Do you have problems with a special boss?

Specialize your flasks, your minor pantheon and use Predator as HoA-support.

To procc highest es on hit often it`s best to cyclone close to bosses with enough mana-reg for continuous full ball-lightnings.


17. In high poe content like U-Shaper, U-Maven, juiced ele-mods in t17, etc., squeeze in "the melding of the flesh" on top for 85-90% max-resis. Visit the "jewels".


18. Do you have enough currency for better the best ..... for the meta-mageblood-belt?


19. Care and be aware about the details of your ascendancy.

Overall you need only 6-50M damage in all poe-content. Above 30M you are free to balance much capacities of the build easy into more defences and qol.

Dps- Checks

In different poe-content it's recommended to balance your tankyness and damage different.
In my experiences you can best choose your set-up of needed damage around the preconditions:

■ 6M damage are for sure enough for t16-mapping and lvl 100 farming
■■ 8M are enough to kick Maven
■■■ 10M for juiced red T16 and for Ueber Elder
■■■■ 20M for simulacrums wave 15
■■■■■ 30M for the feared, valdo-maps and juiced t17
■■■■■■ 40M-50M for the Ubers

22. Know the atlas and the mods


The poe-endgame is often about perfect juicing the maps for the most beautiful loot.

Since [3.24] introduced build-disabling mods, which are beside high multiplying the debuffs of atlas-, altars- and map-mods, exact knowledge about map-rolling is mandatory needed.

■ "reduced / no mana recovery": use the shaper-ring mana on spellhit, best with the prefix-benchraft 'channelling skills have -3 to total mana-costs', or an enduring mana flask, or reroll
■ "reduced effect of auras": from stacked 300% increased atlas-mods upwards change out ghost dance because your es will not recover without evasion. No problem with mageblood or a jade-flask.
■ "less armour and block": switch molten shell to immortal call.

T-16.5 / Nightmare map-mod-filter-regex, i.e.: avoid poison-avoidances / attackblock / drowning orbs:

Low geared resulting into slower mapping and bossing:

■ In the mod "enemies have #% chance to avoid poison" you loose much damage because of reduced virulences. Do not combinate with 300% increased atlasmods! This push your damage down to low HoA-virulences.

■ The mod "enemies #% chance to block attacks" is multiplied by 300% map- and atlasmods to 95% of damage dealt by our herald being blocked by mobs: Map slower, reroll or squeeze in "block chance reduction-support".


Beyond most uncomfortable mods are:

■ against bloodstained sawblades and awakener patches: counter the high dot with the elegant hubris and keystone "supreme decadence", move always
■ exarch runes: map careful


■■■ Much too much multiplied mods mounted up like ■■■

■ more projectiles combinated with increased aoe can in a very few cases shotgun you
■ penetration mods boosted by multiple ele-damage / reduced maximal resistances - mods

Maps <> Bosses

■ HoA-supports: In maps you want always Pierce (120%) or better Greater Fork (130%) and Exampel-support is strong <> against big bosses instead Predator / Signal Prey (130%), or Vile Toxins (130%).
■ Tree: In maps the minion offence mastery for Unholy Might has almost 100% uptime. <> Against singletargets wear 4w Triad Grip gloves instead and "Increased effect of offering" or "Corruption" for the chaos-mastery are more effective.
■ In maps: a few chain-explosions are valuable with the jewel "Foulborn Witchbane", AG's or Merc's gloves "Asenath's Gentle Touch", or "Unspeakable gifts" on a megalomaniac.
■ Skills: Convocation is needed only in maps <> against bosses push in instead: i.e. selfcast Desecrate for corpses
■ Trigger: against bosses use: Arcanist brand - Spirit Offering - Assassin's mark - Despair or also Frostshield, in maps trigger instead with: Cast when Stunned these skills for less needed clicks.

I don't have enough life / energy shield / I die very often

In endgame, from red t16 onwards, you need mandatory to stack 20 layers of defences. Each missing layer can kill you. Follow the spoiler above titled "checklist defences" step by step.


Pray in the pantheon for the hotty burning abberath with divine vessels against burning ground.
Get early immunities against Bleedings and Corrupted blood on ghastly jewels.
Focus on active recovery:
Get the shaper-ring!
The jewels are so important!
Take Elegant hubris.
Watcher`s eye life+es on hit and Aegis Aurora are the keys to endgame-tankyness.
Your flasks need a lot of love.
And 100% spell suppression.
Shocks and freezes and stuns are deadly ailments also. Use elegant form on a cluster for the perfect mix of spell suppression and elemental ailment avoidances.
Get the poison-mastery against crits and critical ignites, use the shield-mastery against chain-freezings or gear AG in Garb of Ephemeral.
Get a Runegraft of Fortress for +500 es.
18k phys- and chaos-max hit taken unbuffed should have been reached.
Get the melding of the flesh for high poe-content.
Use the league-mechanics. Ordinary you get 10-20 free passives when you balance in their benefits like tattoos, charms, grafts, crafts, mercs, etc.
Take Endurance charges in for best flat dr with the vitality-spectre.
Balance overcapped stats into other needed suffixes and individual fitting tattoos.
You need enough mana and mana-reg for your spells and continuous gained life + es on hit of many ball lightnings.

The better you copy the pob on each single stat, the better results you get. Also when all suffixes are quite flexible to be built in, I do not know a better pob.

I need more dex / str / int / resis / bleeding- / ailment-avoidances / spell suppression

Visit in "Checklists stats" the "Attributes" and "Resistances" and "Spell Suppression".

Insert early the next cluster for more useable cluster-transferpoints and the next ghastly jewel.

Get 2x "sublime form" on clusters for resis and mana.

Visit the next spoiler for the tailored tradelinks for small clusters with s1-resis and attributes on clustertransfers, use 35% increased effects on them.

Probably get more attr & resis on more abyss-jewels (or on a large cluster the "veteran defender").
Help Alira the bandit and regret her later.

Use tattoos.

Exchange overcapped resis, attributes, and other suffixes on clustertransfers and jewels to needed different suffixes.

To CI or not to CI?

Only against U-Sirus and Simulacrum-Kosis I would not miss CI 100% chaos-resis or instead cyclone-excommunicate-support. In all other content the Hybrid with doubled recovery is better skilled against dot-damage.

How do you earn currency for levelling-gear early?


When you open a few strongboxes already in the campaign, do blights and low tier-blight-maps, scan your stash with wealthyexile.com and sell by Faustus some stacked decks, rogue`s markers and harvest lifeforce, and send out some kingsmarch-ships you obtain very early some starting chaos/vaals/alchs-orbs for a smooth levelling.


Running some Heists and Labs, looting some Breachs, or crafting eg some on the market popular flasks and clusters is reliable income also.

Which content and atlas-strategies do you personal prefer in endgame?

I farm with aegis aurora's infinitive recovery high density: delirium, exarch altars, t16.5, delve, ravaged blights, etc.

Bossing I prefer neglect, fear, dread, exarch, elder, sirus, cortex, u-elder.

I love to overjuice my atlas with keystones like "Twist of fate", "Dance of destruction", etc., for good loot.

HoA is really an allrounder, i.e. in 3.28 I had a lot fun farming a duo-strategy combining Harvest and Ultimatums in Atoll-maps, Red Vaal Temples as well as Nighmares.
I farmed also full buffed Inscribed Ultimatums (4 - 8 divs rewards, cards, shards) and reached easy reliable nice 25 - 50 div per hour.

I don't have enough Mana / My skills don't trigger / I cannot use all supports of HoA / Can I use different socket-colours on the armour for the Herald? / I cannot activate all auras:

First aid: Use one more small cluster with sublime form also for additional resis, or path with 3 more passives to sovereignity instead to influence on the tree.

Get 35% increased effects of the small passives on the small clusters.

Fix all mana-reg with a shaper-ring 3 mana on spellhit and benchcraft -3 manacosts of channeling skills.

Limit tornados, ball lightnings, etc. to lvl 1.

Tempestshield and with cwdt and cws autotriggered spells are qol for autobombing.
Cwdt lvl 1 / cws - tornadoes / void sphere / storm brand etc. are fine to autotrigger HoA, best with damage recouped as mana on a ghastly jewel to procc them always reliable.

Line of sight is needed. The HoA don't attack around corners and also not in the backside. Here you need convocation (hidden in the 8th white vendor-tab) or move one dungeon-room further, then the Herald follows. Convocation is also used to summon the crawler into proximity shields of mobs.

In highest density like ravaged blights or delve support HoA with the combo pierce + returning projectiles, so he stings also in his backside.

Of course you should switch convocation out against pinnacles in their small open arenas for better skills.

Against bosses predator-support often doubles damage-uptimes too. Marking them with signal prey will overwrite needless HoA-movements often for more uptime of the tail-attack instead.

The Herald of agony has a huge aoe, so with feeding frenzy / agressive no difference is recognized. Meat-shield is not recommended too.

I have since [3.23] best damage-uptime with cyclone - cwc - ball lightning of orbiting - tornados of elemental turbulences / - incr aoe

100% damage-uptime up to 120 HoA-virulences.

The HoA-skill is not looking so impactful? | Mtx


Most beautiful is the free mtx of ignites of the notable "raze and pillage" on a large or unique medium clusterjewel. Much fun to watch everything burn. Do not gear 4 white socket-Triad Grips because of the mandatory fire-component.

Also the "Dragon Hunter", "Transcendence" or "Despair" - Herald - mtx are not too bad and there are much nice mtx for "Ball Lightning" and "Raise Spectre" available.

Summoning & triggering beside the Perfect Judgemental Spirit Discipline-Spectre, a Holy Flame Totem, a swarm of minions like spiders of Arakaali's fang, Phantasms or Absolution, or the HoA-support "Returning Projectiles" are visual worthful too.

Any cheap variants for flask?
First a normal Sulphur flask is best against degens. With antifreeze when you dont have the clusternotable Hibernator.


Second, without Fasting on clusters most effective is a Quicksilver.

Third a Quartz Dodge flask, or when you dont use blindings, a Stibnit flask, smoke cloud on use for melee blinding.

Take a look into the spoiler "flasks and sulphur" for all adviced flasks.

Other unique flasks dont offer enough for the build. Rumi's concoction Granite flask is perfect as long you don't have maximum block and spell block.

Your character is getting great. With two circle rings you have also a lot of possibilities. But you are without determination? I think you have enough mana. Perhaps change determination in instead of frost wall or instead of increased duration for much more armour and es on block until you get it on a corrupted shield. Or change both withering step plus shock nova to determination plus frostblink. Or change anti-curse on flask to increased armour for a bit more armour.

I have tried to add in determination - seems reserved 100% mana, unless i drop 1 gem from Body armor or buy awakened (?) gem

seems i would need to farm for more currency

Aaaah, okay, you have to put fertile catalysts, mana quality upgrades, on your rings. Then you will get enough not reserved mana. In the spoiler gear and then spoiler circle of nostalgia and mana reservations are all reduced manareservation notes for the build. Charisma on the amulet is great too, but there you can afford with two circle-rings another anointment.

I will take a look how 2 circle-rings work. Very interesting. Perhaps with different high dex-high ES -gloves a very nice possibility too to get place for an aul's uprising later.

And I edited another possibility with frostblink above because there are not many gem-slots. Take a look into "skills- and sockets management".

The build works until lvl 98 very fine with low and medium currency and you can vary a lot of skills, support, gear and passives, but then it is getting difficult to optimize gear a bit more for lvl 99 and 100.

Very nice guide, I was wondering as Skin of the Lords with iron reflexes (Cheapest right now is 13 Ex) Is this doable without iron reflexes/Vaal Grace with a skin of the loyal until we can get enough $$$ to buy an iron reflexs Skin Lords?
