Need Help BB/BF Assasin sucking much

Didn't listen to go with ziz's chieftain, went with Tripolar Bear's assasin. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEx5EQCNS48&t=2121s&ab_channel=TripolarBear) I fucked up following it as I was half way to what he is calling "cheap elemental mapping" version, but I dropped exalt and started to go for Cold iron point phys first budget version - turns out its not working well as I got stuck witout cureency, kinda bad tree and 3K life squishi T1 getting killed build at lvl 70.. Please help what to focus on so I can somehow fix it so I can progress..I might need bunch of regrets and go back to either ele version or finish phys and hope for some dmg. Do you have a cold iron point? When I import your char it says your using storm prism which is SUPER bad. If you have CIP, then make sure you change your links around for the "physical" version. Also try to get and "enduring" mana flask as that will solve your mana problems, get these gloves instead of wyrmsign https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Kalisa%27s_Grace as they're much easier to color (sorry for baiting everyone).
Your tree is fine, and next I would go up to "force shaper" and grab the cast speed. IMPORTANT: You need a warding flask, and a staunching flask. Those 2 things (and capping your fire res) will help you IMMENSLY while mapping so you can't be cursed (warding), or bleed (staunching). You have plenty of life for T1 maps, you just have a bad wand right now, and bad flasks. 3k is totally fine, but you cannot run into a pack and then start casting. You NEED to cast BEFORE and AWAY from the packs, otherwise they'll be attacking you while you cast. Hope this helps! " Feeling pretty weak as well. It felt pretty good as soon as I had a 4L Bladefall setup with Faster Casting, however I'm feeling significantly weaker in maps. Started with Esoro's build and slowly adapted to the Day 1 heat map tree from poe.ninja. The biggest problem I have is being locked into the cast animations. I just get overwhelmed sometimes before packs die and the casting just feels so clunky. I just equipped a 4L Carcass Jack also and it actually feels WORSE because the Bladefall spread is bigger and there are fewer Blade Blast explosions because of less overlap. No one from poe.ninja went up to Force Shaper on the tree, yet they seem to be mapping just fine. I'm at the point on the tree where I just picked up 2 power charge nodes. Kalisa will help with overlap issue but I still feel like I'm missing a LOT of cast speed. Any ideas? | |

If the build is feeling clunky and slow, it's because you don't have enough cast speed. Going through force shaper is a lot of attack/cast speed, and I highly recommend going through there to get it feeling smooth. Check out my blade blast POB, as it's been updated for more cast speed. Also, keep in mind that you can "buffer" the blade blast input instantly after casting blade fall which gives you a very quick combo so long as you press them near simultaneously.
