Xbox Series X issues
I've been playing Path of exile since 3.0 and have dealt with the stuttering game play knowing that Xbox wasn't the intended platform for path of exile and to stick to low low fps skills and not go crazy. I got a Xbox series x for Xmas and with no mtx inside my bear bones hide out just standing still the game will drop frames then catch up all of a sudden. I have no idea whats going on. I'm hoping that maybe its a setting I have on . I'm hoping for a smooth launch for console on the 20th.

" Sounds like internet lag, I just got my Series X the other day. Have 8TB external hard dirve too. Try if you don't/haven't already plugging your Xbox directly into router. I've been playing on wifi at home and only experience issues when I leap slam too fast and get that nasty rubber banding issue. MTX on & quality settings (not performance) are set to max and no issues besides the leap slam. I'm getting closer to 1k depth in delve too and the harbinger nodes don't lag. |

sounds like your playing on wifi. I played wifi alittle on my series x and encountered this. Was gone when i hooked up through ethernet.

question:
are you streaming from xbox to pc/laptop or is it straight connection and playing on telly? when im streaming to laptop/pc i need to have my controller connected to the laptop/pc otherwise its stuttering like mad. besides that, everything is running smoothly wireless and connected to cable |

Interesting. I have been on Xbox X since the holidays and the lag times for screens and maps is defiantly improved. However, I crash to desktop several times each session. Occurs in HO with stash, going into a map, fighting mobs - doesn’t seem to be any real pattern. I “assume” this is due to the system architecture on the new console.
So, overall much better experience in playing and hopefully those hard crashes to launch screen get addressed. Hardwired gig connection as well and no other issues with other games so far. |

It's always weird, the ones complaining about "issues and instability" are the ones with 5 down 400kb up net lol
Maybe just maybe, its not the game? Last edited by gO BeWarned#8707 on Jan 19, 2021, 7:31:29 AM

Some people is always complaining about issues regarding Path of Exile.
1st off Path of Exile is a strict Online only game. You HAVE to be online at all times to be able to play it. That means it can and always sometimes will be issues with it. 2nd off is also the fact that your location and whereabouts counts a lot on online required services. What is your exact living hole. You have lots of sea around you? Lots of Mountains? Big City, small city, countryside, tiny Village? How is the weather? All this and more needs to be taken into account, next to the game also is being online only. I too have issues with it sometimes, but for the most part I´m running it very nice. And I´m running the game on an external SSD on an Xbox 1S. So it can certainly not be your Xbox Series X fault. Or maybe it is, since you are probably still blaming your Xbox for it. Or are you? |

The MTX wasn't loading or something right? Off topic but I want to make sure that if I get a series X I'm not going to have to start fresh. Plz/thx.

" What kind of bollocks is that you are coming with?! Of course you´re not gonna have to start from scratch if and when you get yourself a Xbox Srs X. Are you not gonna just download and install your already owned Microsoft Acc.? Unless you are not planning to get a whole new darn Microsoft Acc. for whatever reason, you are not gonna bother starting from scratch with Path of Exile. |
