Any PC players here?

Hi everyone, I was a PC player for a couple of years now. Recently, I downloaded POE on my PS4 and had a good time playing it... in bed.

Now, I wonder if I should make the switch to PS4, with the following pros and cons playing on PS4:-

Pros:

- Nowadays, I sit in front of my pc for 11 hours a day for work. If I continue playing POE on PC, my ass is going to get flatter.

- Playing in bed is nice and comfy. Big screen, off the lights, I feel relaxed.


Cons:

- I have spent quite a huge amount of money on my PC account, have tons and tons of tabs.

- If I move to PS4, I have 4 tabs and none of my MTXes, some of which I love but can no longer get, e.g. that gorgoyle lion headed pet.

- Performance on PS4 seems to be a bit worse off on PS4, it ran smooth on my PC.


Anyone else has the same considerations when you started playing PS4 version? How do you deal with it, or did you move back to PC (in that case you wouldnt see this post anyway)? Haha.

I've played on and off on my pc since the beta, but before some years I bought a ps4 ans after the release on console I didn't touch poe on pc. I'm like you working 12h in front of pc and really wanted to not touching m+k after that.

I dint have that much stuff on my pc account because back they I was young and poor, also salary in my country isn't that big to buy 30-60$ stuff (for me is double) and I only have tabs and firs blood + ps+ bonuses.

PoE on consoles is better and better, now is playing like on my old pc and I don't have a problem with some lag or death that much, because I'm playing mostly for fun and experiments (mostly 1-4weeks from the start of the new season)
I heard that on ps5 runs Smoot as butter l, so after year or two I'll try it there with poe2.


Only cons for me is that GGG isn't thinking for as like different platform and sometimes you really feel the pc port, they could improve it greatly, but their console team is smaller for now. Of they put more time and resources into console versions I'm sure more people will play the game on consoles - those games are made for controller ( lol).

Switched to PS4 couple years back for similar reasons. Sitting at a desk all damn day, just couldn't do it at home anymore.

There's still issues with desync, like with flicker strike. So just don't do those kind of builds.

Many popular builds on the forums require gear you have to buy. The market on console is bananas. Just don't even try. Look for a fair SSF build each league, stash gear into standard and try those expensive builds there after you've saved up some ex.

Yeah the downside is some performance and the market. Not to mention a few other minor issues, but seriously, I have to work my ass off all the time. Couldn't care less how elite PoE is on PC. I'm exhausted, and am going to kick back with a nice scotch and a good game.

Focus on unwinding after work in quality, not based on past work put into it.
