Elder gloves with "Socketed Gems are supported by Level # Poison", need help!!!

So, I play a Shadow with a Venom Gyre build or better I try...

My problem is, that I have to buy elder gloves with "Socketed Gems are supported by Level # Poison". Now the question is, when I got gloves with "Socketed Gems are supported by Level 19 Poison" and the gem reaches Level 20, is it still working? I don't get it. Maybe my English is to bad to understand what that exactly means. I very thankful for every help.

It means whatever is in the gloves gets a pseudo 5-link (as normally gloves have only 4 sockets) and that 5th "gem" equals to https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Poison_Support with the lvl 19 power of it (can't modify or level it). I'm pretty sure these things do not stack if you socket poison support as a gem as well, but it stacks if you use "lesser poison" for example.
