Why is there no new vaal skills

As the title suggests i would like to know why is there no new vaal skills ever since the last batch, i am rather dissapointed that there is only a handful of them in the game

In part, this is sort of like asking why there are no new Delve Nodes, Beasts, or Temple Rooms.

Vaal skills are old league content.

Now, they DID add some new ones, but it hasn't happened often, nor in a long time.

That said, while I don't particularly like them, I do think it would make sense to occasionally release Vaal versions of new skill gems.

Not necessarily in the same league (it could be a pain to try to balance both the main and vaal version of a skill at introduction), they could add them a league or two later.

Vaal Cobra Lash, anyone?

Vaal Ice Nova exists, Shock Nova has no Vaal. I feel like that's an easy one to add in.

Stormbind could possibly have something that gives it a 3x3 grid of runes, never used the skill though.

Just thinking of AoE skills and how the Vaal is normally just a larger scale version of that.

Would be cool to see some new ones pop in every now and then. We have the new versions of quality, I'm wondering if that's the Vaal idea just reimagined.

A giant windshield wiper that pushes stuff aside be nice for heist.
