Series X or Series S for 1080p

Hello i still have my 1080p monitor and im about to get next gen. Im wondering X or S? I also know that x is marketing for 4k and S for 1440p /1080p.

I think you need buy X series , because series S have around 4 teraflops performance and this like PS4 pro. Series X have 12 teraflops it's could be much better.

Hi.
The game still benefits from the power of One X and Series X even if you are using 1080p monitor. It targets 4k resolution for rendering and then the image is downscaled to 1080p by the console. Resulting image looks crisp and sharp with almost no aliasing. X versions of the game come with higher resolution textures. Some effects, like water, are also rendered with higher resolution on X consoles. And you get an option to enable Global Illumination and Ambient Occlusion. |

So i will go with X then. But is it the same if i go lets say with 1440p?

"Yup. Xbox already supports 1440 resolution. So you can hook up current gen Xbox One X to a 1440p monitor and get native 1440p image of the game that was rendered with 4k target. Same will be true for Series X. |

Here I also ask the question about the PS5 ...
Will POE run just as (badly) on PS5 as it does on PS4 (Pro) ...? We all know that the POE performance is not exactly good in the end game. Will POE run better on PS5 or just as bad as only PS4 backward compatibility mode is running, or does POE at least use something like boost mode? But we love consoles and we want to play poe and poe2 (when it comes out) on our next gen consoles. Hoping to get the benefits of 120 frames per second as well!!! But GGG still nothing confirm.

i dont care about graphics, i just want smooth gameplay in high level content. is S powerful enough???
