GTA 6 IS Coming

there are big plans for gta 6 release and maybe it's a good idea to delay next league for couple months too?

But seriously... this month delay isn't because of a game launch. It's more complex than that. The game being launched is the part of the story that we've been told about. The rest of the story is not being revealed.

The "worst case" has happened... as evidenced by the delay of the league and the delay of the tab affinity. It's actually beyond what they thought worst case was.

So wait for it. Maybe someday we'll know what happened. Don't bet on it.

Well with the next-gen consoles coming going to be a lot of hyped games coming next year. Given Microsoft and Sony will be pushing hard to promote the new platforms.

People just don't get it... there is always more to a story than what it appears to be. By mentioning Cyberpunk he gave the community something to talk or should I say argue about his statement. He also gave Cyberpunk some advertising (exposure) which could also be paid (sponsored).


There is only one word that I liked from his statement and that is "Flashback" the rest, well it doesn't impact me since for me Christmas is every week as I'm not a "casual", at least not for now and for a very long time.

Cyberpunk is a massive game launch. It's been highly anticipated for 8 years. The only poll on reddit that collected any substantial data on whether PoE players wanted to play it showed over 50% do, and over 35% would choose it over PoE. Bottom line, that makes it stupid as fuck to try and compete with on the same weekend.

There's a reason no other movies release the same weekend as Avengers and Star Wars. Because it's stupid. Stop making shit more than it is.

If you really want to, you could imagine a thousand reasons for why they said what they did, with each reason being more convoluted than the rest.

I really doubt that Chris was paid to advertise CP77. That just seems too far out there.

I'd say the truth is closer to home. That they see the release of CP77 as being a major release in the RPG world. Either big enough to not compete with or big enough to be a sufficient reason to not release the next update on time and use it as an excuse to polish more.

As to which of those is more likely, I cannot say, but I really doubt that CDPR's budget, as big as it may be, probably doesn't extend to paying off competitors to not release their own games.
