I for one have high hopes

I truly think the update notes stating that the common client crash will be fixed in 3.12.4 will work. I mean think about it, if after all these months and alllllll the posts and bug reports, and they say "we have a fix." Id bet money they had to have checked it out over and over to make sure it works, because if it doesn't, all hell will break loose.

I hope Jeff posts what exactly the problem was, I'm very curious.

I wouldn't expect to never crash again or anything but I do hope that it will be more like Delirium League and a lot less like Harvest/Heist in the amount of crashes that occur. At this point the pre Harvest crash numbers feel like a stable game to me :p

That fix is PC specific (hence why it was on the PC patch notes). I doubt the same fix can be applied to console.

Uh, no.

Every platform gets every (major) patch.

And, Jeff (from GGG) specifically posted that the 3.12.4 patch for Console contains a fix for the common client crash on PS4.

Oh boy. Cant wait.

I am not naive as before, so i doubt if we will get to the "1 crash every 10 hours" level. I bet it's last time when ps4 got top engineer working on the problems, i dont think that this game will ever be optimized.

But i cant wait. One way or another it's going to be fun.

It was mentioned in the announcement from Jeff that they will deploy 3.12.4 tomorrow and it will include the crash fix.

I cant remeber when ps4 was working good or great. Worked okey? Sure.

At this point, our "high hopes" are that it goes back to "working okay".

I don't think anyone is expecting a 100% crash-free experience.

If we can go back to Metamorph league levels of crashing, most of us will be thrilled.

Something is better than nothing. As a group of beggars we'll take what we can get. I'm not gonna throw away a dime because it's not a dollar.

Compare it to how it was the days prior, any steps in the right direction are hope for a crash less future (not crash free). We cannot expect this one fix to magically fix leagues of issues. But anything it does fix is greatly appreciated.
