dude, the patch wasnt even that big.... i feel for you though. but im suprised it would take longer than 2 hours.... took like 10 minutes for me

if it makes you feel any better, the realm is still offline almost 20 minutes after it was supposed to be up

" 13.3GB for most people. I saw one report of 18+GB. (guessing maybe they skipped Harvest?). Even 13GB in under 10 mins is super fast. If you're in a rural area anywhere, or in a less developed country, you literally cannot buy those speeds, no matter how much you want to. If you're in the US, and not in a lucky place that has cheap fiber, those speeds will be crazy expensive, if available at all. Oh yeah, and then there's server saturation. I drove to a place with 150Mbs internet to do the update (my local speed is 3Mbs), and it still took 90 minutes, because the download was just slow. I hope you didn't all stay up waiting.
Realm is currently offline still although the website says it isn't. Once again, clearly no testing whatsoever was done before the release of this patch otherwise these "technical issues" would have been apparent and fixed before launch. Oh well, no mtx money for GGG again this league. That makes 3 in a row without getting any of my money now. I'd happily buy some new tabs or skill effects if they just made a single meaningful performance improvement or just actually spoke to us and treated us like valued (or even just regular) customers. I've never experienced a company with such bad customer service. |
